Very inefficient. It took me multiple hours to sell a tiny bit of copper and shred. The line was hardly moving, there isn't enough space for smaller vehicles, let alone the semi trucks+53 foot trailers, to move or turn around. And when we went to sell the copper, we had to wait an hour for anyone, because they kept leaving while weighing the metal, and it took forever to get our ticket. Same traffic, same amount of material, I can be in and out of another scrapyard in 15 minutes.

I hope the owner can read this review. Today, Monday, February 9th, I decided to sell my bare brite copper, approximately 206 pounds, including four 5-gallon containers. I divided the copper into four parts, each container holding approximately 51.5 pounds. The weight was double-checked by my husband at home using my scale, which I've used before to weigh copper and never had any problems with the weight when selling at Foss Recycling until today. I arrived at the recycling center with my husband, who is an expert on this since he has been selling copper for over 20 years. He backed into the scale and was told to wait while they placed a large container of copper on the scale they already had. They removed it from the scale, then emptied my copper into the container, returned it to the scale, and weighed it again. Immediately afterward, my husband noticed that the man at the ticket dispenser took out two tickets. He checked the receipts and they only gave him one ticket. That's when he checked the pounds of copper I got paid for and, oh surprise, 45 pounds had disappeared. He immediately confronted them and told them that pounds of copper were missing, and they started arguing that their scale was certified and many other things that were not reasonable. He asked to speak to the manager, and the guy running the scale claimed to be the manager, so there was nothing to be done. He asked to speak to another person in charge, and they put him on the phone with someone who told him the same thing: that if I wanted, they could return 155 pounds of copper. That wasn't fair since I had brought more than 200 pounds. Since we saw that we wouldn't get anywhere with this , he decided to go to the office on-site, but no one answered. So he tried calling customer service, and no one picked up. He kept trying, and nothing. Well, I think I can leave my comment here and warn people who are looking to make a few extra dollars that these deceitful people can steal them. That's right, folks, be very careful when you go to this place. Double-check exactly when they are weighing what you bring to sell. I brought four 5-gallon containers, each weighing over 50 pounds, which is a small amount. Why make such a fuss about using such a large container if it's just to steal from me? I hope the owner reads this and checks the system to see how many tickets were charged or issued in my name today. I'm including the exact check-in and check-out times to make it easier to find the transaction.
