I sold my daughter's car to Flower's after she hit a deer and the repair was going to be 3x the car's worth. They were quick to respond to my request I made through their website, offered me an amount to purchase the car, and we agreed upon a day/time for the sale. All of this happened via text message. 10 minutes til the time of the appointment, I received a text message saying the driver had car troubles that morning, which set them behind, but that we were still on the schedule for that day. Not a problem, it happens to the best of us. Roughly 30 minutes later the driver called me and said that he was unaware that I was on his schedule for that day but could leave the office and head my way; I was about 30-40 minutes away from the office. Clearly there are some dispatching/communication issues within the company as other reviewers have said. But he did leave the office right away because he showed up within his timeframe, just an hour later than agreed upon. Slightly annoyed, but vested in this now. The driver inspected the car and offered me $50 cheaper than what was quoted to me. I knew from reading previous reviews that this was a possibility although I was hoping that the delay in service would sway the decision to change the quoted price. At the end of the day, I'm happy to have the car gone with a little bit of cash in my hands. All together, the experience wasn't awful; everyone was very polite and apologetic. I would just be prepared for this to take longer than expected and get less than quoted. Hope this helps the next person to have a realistic expectation.

I had a cracked rim I had no idea what to do with. Someone told me to take it to Mr. Flowers and he'd buy it from me. He did indeed! I am a Kalamazoo native but I was sleep on this little spot! Mr. Flowers and his boys are some of the most polite businessmen I've met to date. No hassel, no complaints. Not only do they buy scrap rims they buy used cars (running and not) and will come pick it up! They sell tires as well as some parts. I have just learned about them, but trust I will continue to do business here. I'll call them first the next time I need somethingfor my car. #shoplocal

From the moment I put my inquiry in to the moment my vehicle rolled onto the bed of the tow truck I had a fantastic experience. Ron communicated well, set clear expectations, and was honest and timely. I had another offer come in that was $25 more than Flowers Automotive was offering, but the experience I was getting was horrible and not worth the little bit more money. Hands down, if you need to recycle a vehicle, you MUST give Flowers Automotive Recyclers a chance. You won’t be disappointed.
