Todd Clamon (#12) did an amazing job assisting me in my hour of need. My electronic parking break was stuck, and the tire had gone flat. While I called for a tow, Todd went above and beyond trying to help. He first filled my tire with air and tried to free the stuck brake by identifying which side was stuck. He then tried to clear the error code. When that didn't work he took the tire off and tried to physically pry it open. Unfortunately, that didn't work and we decided to go ahead with the tow. Not only did Todd have envelopes for me to leave my keys in the drop box at the repair shop, he also made sure that I got home in the freezing weather. After working a 12 hour shift, Todd was amazing. I wish more people were as helpful.

I was on my way home from work at midnight when I hit a pothole bursting my tire on Washtenaw ave. I was picked up fairly quickly by a man named Anas, he quickly analyze my situation, reassured me that all will be well with my vehicle and loaded my vehicle in a very timely manner. While in the car with him, he was kind enough to ask if I needed a ride home. I am very grateful that he was my driver. Thank you Anas for making a bad day better.

This towing company services the private lot myself and my partner park in as tenants of our apartment complex. Both he and I have lived here for a year and a half, and have been incredibly diligent about regularly ensuring that our vehicles are registered and have the pass indicating our residency placed correctly, per our lease agreement. Despite this, my partners car was towed on Sunday without any notification to him or our landlord. This happened while we were out of town, and by the time we got back (Thursday) we called the landlord to see what happened, and they shared that in the four days it sat in their lot, Nationwide had not once notified them that they towed a car off our landlords lot. We then called Nationwide directly, who claimed that a photo had been taken of the car when it was towed that showed there was no pass in my partners car, yet he was unwilling to share this photo. From there we called our landlord again, who instructed us to go in person to where the car had been towed, take a picture of the pass, and sent it to him so he could get the charges dropped. We did exactly this, but even when we were able to get a clear image of the pass in the front of my partners car, the Nationwide owner still fought us, saying that he would only reduce the charges, not rid of them entirely. It was only once my partner informed that he was going to call our landlord again--as this wasn't what our landlord had told us--that the owner relented, but not before talking down to my partner, telling him to hang the pass "like a normal person" and threatening to be back the next morning to tow him again. Honestly, the only saving Grace of this entire interaction was the stand up employee who advocated for my partner to his boss, using his phone to show him very clearly where the pass was. He was also incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, all traits the owner lacked in every one of his interactions with us. Many thanks to him for going above and beyond to ensure that the company protected the tenants of the landlord they serve instead of gouging them for money.
