Getting towed sucks, and I think we can all agree on that. But my experience with Budget Towing, while admittedly pricey, was surprisingly positive. The woman who answered the phone was kind, helpful, and clear about the ETA for when I could pick up my car. Jim, the tow operator, was incredibly nice as well and even waived the additional night fee so I could speak with the owner about some personal circumstances. When I spoke with Faddy, the owner, he was patient, understanding, and genuinely kind. They cannot always make exceptions since they have policies, fees, and employees to pay, but I truly appreciated feeling heard and respected throughout the process. All things considered, the experience was as pleasant as a towing situation can be. I never felt talked down to, and it was clear the team was not interested in abusing their authority. They are simply doing their jobs, and if you park illegally, your car will eventually need to be moved. These are not bad people, and I am grateful for how well they treated me.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Staff very rude and trained just to parrot the same sentences over and over without understanding a concern. They don't allow you to retrieve your own title/registration from your car to prove it is yours. They make it as difficult as possible to retrieve your car and have ridiculous pricing. They will also look for any excuse to tack on additional fees. Nearly $600 to retrieve my car less than 24 hours after they took it. The owners rake in money by effectively stealing from college students. Not sure how they sleep at night.

I was towed from a parking lot I was not supposed to be parked in (which I completely understand). When I called to get my car, the dispatch lady was very nice but I was initially told someone would be back to the impound lot after 30 minutes but I ended up waiting close to 2 hours. When I called back after waiting that long, I was told she did not actually have an ETA on when the driver would return so I could retrieve my car. My parents had to come retrieve my car and they waited 3 hours once they arrived. Again, I understand I was parked in an unauthorized lot but there needs to be more transparency when people are calling. I'm a student with a very full schedule so this felt extremely inconsiderate. There's no need to further inconvenience people especially when they have taken responsibility are ready to show proper documentation and pay.
