I'll start with I will go back one more time and update my review pending the next visit.<br><br>Customer service seems sequestered to behind the register which is telling of this shop. They have a decent amount of gear and clothing. I popped in to check out some snow gear. One black diamond ski pole with a broken basket. $30. Tecnica boots beat to hell. $300. A Patagonia jacket with stains on it. $175. Wait until March or June and you might just get a decent deal.I guess the folks who participate in the consignment arrangement benefit in some way. This place is the epitome of the Offer Up seller who can't get past the value of something which *used to* be new. I'll give them another shot in the spring.

Boulder Sports Recycler is one of my favorite small businesses however, as a seller - I now have to accept digital checks from BSR.<br><br>In order to streamline the process, I am given two options both of which cost me both money and data privacy.<br><br>1) the only option to receive the payment is through direct deposit which cost $2.50 per check<br>2) I am given the option to provide my personal account and routing number to a corporation that has little credibility and I've identified this as a huge security risk. Given that I have never heard of checkbook.io - I had no choice but to opt to connect my personal bank account with Plaid which forces me to share my banking data with the third party.<br><br>So as a customer - I am not only paying $2.50 for a company to process my money but also giving away my personal data for free. Like really - why does Plaid need to know my account balances, name, address, phone number etc - when my identity was already verified by BSR?<br><br>As someone who values their privacy and supporting small businesses, this is a huge disappointment.

The repair services are incredible.<br>I brought several pieces of very light weight cycling clothing that were SHREDDED from crashes and they were able to do a remarkable job restoring them in very little time for very little money. They’ve done other, less complex work as well with a similar degree of attention and execution.<br>By far the best experience I’ve had at any business in Boulder.
