This place is AWESOME!!! My boat shift cable snapped after launch - coming out from being winterized. eBay only had a cheap Chinese made cable that we ordered & upon tear down and reinstall, we found out the hard way that it doesn’t fit. Beyond frustrated as we were being charged a small fortune daily to have our boat trailered and out of the slip while the repair was done. We came across an original OMC cobra cable here online with South central Outboards. They managed to get this cable overnighted and in my hands literally within 12 hours. Illinois to Upstate NY… Wade, James, the entire staff at this place is A1. They even called the next day to confirm it was out for delivery and I’d have it as needed. I wish they were here in NY. I’ll ABSOLUTELY be ordering again, whenever necessary. Thank you so much south central outboards, you helped me get my family back in the water and having fun in no time!

Tried to contact this company several times in the last couple of months wanting to sell my used outboard. The 1st time was through their message page on their website. The 2nd was a phone call, there was nobody there to talk to me but was given a name and email address of someone who could help. OK. I sent an email explaining what I had and that I wanted to sell it, even offered to deliver it. NO RESPONSE, nothing. A couple weeks later I sent a follow up email. Again no response at all. Even a no thanks. go away, would have been better than being ignored. Terrible way to run a business.

I'll give this place more stars if it was possible believe me they have been over backwards and been so patient with my situation they have researched they have done so much and even though we couldn't find an answer they still you know maintain professionalism or calm called back when they said they were supposed to you know communication was a plus you need to do business with people like this I appreciate you guys very much and I will be using you later on believe me
