Heading east on I-12 in Baton Rouge, I noticed the engine sputtering a few times before the car suddenly lost power and rolled to a stop. One minute I was heading across town, the next I was sitting on the shoulder staring at a dashboard full of warning lights. Called Howdy Towing & Roadside Services and figured I'd be waiting a while with traffic being what it is around Baton Rouge. Surprisingly, their towing service showed up much faster than expected. The driver walked over, asked if I was safe first, then got everything hooked up without making me feel rushed. He even cracked a joke about how cars always seem to break down when you're already running late. By the end of it, I felt a lot less stressed and much more confident things would be okay.
