I use my car for work. When it started acting funky today I got really freaked out. I went to advance Auto parts and Joseph helped me every step of the way. He showed compassion and empathy. It made me feel way less nervous. I wish all people and customer service had his kindness.

Given the runaround everytime I go in there. The elderly man working there refused to sell me the lower priced car battery then made a huge deal about installing the $350 one I ended up purchasing ….stating that it was too windy for him to do so.

Tried to return a battery that went bad in 4 months, they couldn’t find me in the system because their inept employee didn’t enter in my personal information correctly. They initially offered me a gift card because they couldn’t find proof of purchase which I declined initially. The manager, Ray, was put on the phone on my next day return with my proof of purchase and he said to come back in the next day to speak to him in person for a refund. I returned for the third day in a row for Ray to just offer me a gift card and say it would be a lot of trouble for him to get me a cash refund. Awful customer service.
