My wife had to go to town hall and pay 25$ for a dump permit. This was one day ago. She asked, what time are you guys open until on Saturday's? The folks at Town Hall said, "We are open until 4 pm on Saturdays." My wife then, just to be extra safe, said "okay, so you guys are open until 4:00 p.m. this Saturday?" They responded, "yup". I borrowed a pickup truck, and spent over an hour packing it with yard waste, because when I checked the town website, it said that loads must be covered. So I went a little overboard in making sure that I fit everything and was able to cover it properly. I drove over to the dump at 2:00 p.m., lo and behold, despite the giant sign claiming they are open until 4:00, the gate was locked, not a single employee in site. Now I have to go back to my house unload all of the yard waste back onto my front lawn, clean out the truck I borrowed and bring it back. I just wasted my whole Saturday, I'm all cut up from the branches, covered in sweat and crap, for nothing. I checked the Wakefield calendar, the DPW calendar, and literally anything related to the dump that I could online, absolutely nowhere does it say that they are not open until 4:00 p.m. update your website, And the giant sign in front of the dump as well. You guys really screwed me.
