10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. My car was here for WEEKS for transmission work, only for me to pick it up and barely make it 40 miles before every light, sound and mechanical issue came right back. This guys communication SUCKS to start, it was clear he didn’t want to mess with it any more, and I certainly didn’t trust him anymore at this point. Ended up having to take it to Fernelius Ford in Cheboygan where even they, THE DEALERSHIP couldn’t get ahold of this guy. The dealership ended up making this guys wrong doing, right. I’m not even one to leave a bad review but if i can spare even one person the stress and headache that i went thru then it’s worth it.

Don't let appearances fool you. This is a repair shop associated with a salvage yard. I got a price on a remanufactured transmission that was $2,600 less than the dealership that wanted to put in a new one. I dealt with Junior who runs the business and does the labor. He did a great job in communicating and getting our transmission in timely I would not hesitate to use them again for any future work needed.

For others looking for it, it the blue building at the metal recyclers. There's no sign saying superior transmission. We were in the area on vacation and had transmission problems, they quickly diagnosed the issue and got us fixed up so we could head on our way. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and unstood our situation.
