Stripped the terminal stud going into the side mount battery. Purchased 9/3/2025. Called Highland store where it was installed by "HT". Another tech said they don't have a terminal stud to replace it...WHAT? You can talk to HT on Monday. WOW!

Normally this place is outstanding, however my most recent service left much to be desired. I had a chrysler sebring to bring in for replacement, and called ahead knowing that this car is a pain to do a battery swap due to the location and would likely take some time. The person I spoke to on Tuesday (8/12) morning was excellent, and we were promptly scheduled for service on Thursday morning. Upon arrival on Thursday, the person working was dismissive, rude, would not even speak to me to ask for a phone number, instead just threw a pen at me after questioning "are you sure it wasn't yesterday?". No, I had a shift on Wednesday morning, it was not possible to be here or schedule for that time. This service was absolutely abhorrent not just for myself, but also my fiance who owned the car who experienced the brunt of this workers obvious displeasure to do their job. After leaving (being whole-arm waved out, still no words used, obviously we interrupted his morning) we realized he never asked refurbished or new battery, so we called to make sure. Upon answer, he replied "are you kidding me? Cmon" and promptly hung up on us. At this point, we did not feel comfortable having the car in for service with this individual at all due to his outbursts. We returned to pick up the car after this, and found this employee in the parking lot talking with someone trying to sell a motorcycle. We waited at the desk for 10 minutes while he looked over and saw we were there, but made no move to actually do his job (once again). After some time he returned to the store, and we left with the car unrepaired. After this we called the Commerce rd. Discount battery location, and the car was quickly serviced by the wonderful staff there and we were on our way. Normally I have thick skin for these things but I will never return here, or recommend this place to anyone else in the future due to the individual working Thursday (8/14) morning's rude, demeaning, and downright mean attitude. I sincerely hope that this employee is properly trained in line with the rest of the staff's customer service expectations, whom I have never had issues with before in the past 8 years of patronizing Discount Battery.

Steve gave such fast and friendly service! I was in and out within a half hour. He took out old battery, put in a new one, and even changed the battery in my fob! My brother recommended discount battery to me and I'm so glad he did! This will be my go to place and will highly recommend it to others!
