On 2/25/26 @ 0630. I went in to use the restroom and buy a drink. The young cashier was nice but the older lady is really rude and takes offense at everything even when not talking to her. The situation, Michigan does not charge sales tax on food related items. Unless its prepared food (ie. Mcdonalds/ Applebee's/Papajohns). I bought a soda here and they charged sales tax. I was told I could wait an hr to get my money back for the manger to come in. I decided I wanted my money back. My understanding is the corporation that owns this store is charging everyone sales tax on all food items. So that means if all TA/Petro's in michigan are charging sales tax that means that the corporation is pocketing a lot of money illegally. On I side note if my understanding from the employees is correct. The manager at this location is trying to get that fixed

morning staff was very rude on march 03 2026 Wasn’t greeted when I enter the establishment and it seemed as if helping me was a bother especially from women behind counter (Brandy) (Ericka). Hello Management it’s time to make some changes. either the come to jesus Talk or hire new people.

Tried to get fuel two cards declined, go next door to citgo same cards work fine there. One to pay for fuel at the pump and one for box def. Guy in front had issues with payments as well took all three computers to get one to go thru.
