I brought my car here this morning (November 4, 2025) for a state inspection and was surprised when they told me I’d failed because of bad brakes and bad tires. They also recommended an oil change. I was surprised because: (1) I had replaced the brakes on January 21, 2025, just 7,978 miles earlier; (2) a manufacturer-certified representative inspected the tires on June 12, 2025, just 4,166 miles earlier, and found the tires were in good shape with considerable wear remaining; and (3) I had just changed the oil 12 days and 318 miles earlier. Best case is that these guys are grossly incompetent; worst case is that they’re fraudsters. (Another garage inspected the vehicle the same day and issued the inspection sticker.)

East End Auto Service Center in Long Island is quite honestly the best service center I have ever had any dealings with, All the people who work there give fantastic service to their customers. And I don't intend to find another place to get my car problems solved. Found this place a few years back based on a recommendation of a co-worker and haven't looked back since. These guys bend over backwards to get your car fixed, tested , tuned up and finished with whatever services are needed. They have even worked on my car problems till late (evening) in the day and way past their closing time just to get the car back to me in great working condition. I cannot complain about any service they have ever given me. Plus they are totally fair and honest about their examination, evaluation, repair and pricing of whatever repair I have needed, car. They breakdown line by line the parts and services needed. And any problem that crops up , they will inform you of it and proceed according to your decision. Highly, highly, highly recommend them!

Shameless scammers. Took my car to them because it was overheating. They gave me an estimate for $2400 - $2600 worth of repairs. They diagnosed my car for a laundry list of problems including things that had recently been fixed. When I refused service they held onto my car keys until I paid them $150 for “labor”. My car is running fine, my issue was solved by topping up my antifreeze. I then took my car to TWO separate mechanics in queens who confirmed that the estimate I received was essentially filled with falsehoods and that the car was in good shape. Do not go here under any circumstances. They will lie to you and hold your car hostage. If they think you have money and/or don’t know much about cars, they will try to take it from you by making things up. A business like this should not be allowed to continue operating. They are nothing more than common opportunist scammers.
