I needed a tow today after my car wouldn’t start, and Brandon was absolutely exceptional. He arrived quickly, greeted me with kindness, and immediately made a stressful situation feel manageable. He handled my vehicle with care, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable during the entire process. His professionalism, patience, and positive attitude truly stood out. It’s rare to meet someone who combines skill with such genuine customer service, but Brandon did exactly that. Essentials Towing is fortunate to have someone so dependable, respectful, and dedicated on their team. Highly recommend… thank you, Brandon, for turning a rough day into a much better one.

Excellent experience with essentials towing and recovery. Because of a botched repair job on my trailer, with my motorcycle on board, the wheels were about to come off of the trailer. I am a member of AAA but when I called for emergency road service they told me they wouldn't do my motorcycle trailer! I have RV Plus membership and the reason was because I have a motorcycle and a motorcycle trailer. I couldn't believe it that I spent over $130 for AAA membership to be told they weren't going to help me. So I called Essentials Towing and recovery and was treated exceptionally well. Your flatbed was out within a half an hour and their driver was exceptionally helpful and sympathetic. We were able to load the trailer on the flatbed and drive down to the trailer repair place without incident and unload. They were able to turn a nightmare into a resolvable situation.

I had the absolute worst experience with Essentials Towing. I was in a car accident on a Saturday and they were called by the local PD (I did not get to choose the towing company). At first I had no issues-they arrived at the scene of the accident, got ny car hooked up and that is where the service ended. No card, no paperwork, just “take a picture of the number on the truck and call on Monday.” I called Monday, no answer. Left a message, no call back. It wasn’t until Thursday that I was able to get ahold of them and they said they were waiting on GEICO and that everything was “all set.” I called GEICO who said they needed to get the storage fees from the tow yard and had trouble getting in contact and when they did reach them they got the run around (you need to send an email, email said call the office. When GEICO called they said their fee system was down). Apparently this company has a reputation for hanging on to cars longer than needed to collect more storage fees. Overall, it was awful customer service from start to finish. They took 6 days to get my car to the collision center! I called the police department and made a formal complaint. Unfortunately, the town of Colonie has a contract with them so unlikely that Ianything will be done about it. If you have a choice DO NOT USE this company. If I could leave zero stars I would. I have never posted a review of a company but Essentials Towing had such poor customer service that if I can spare anyone else the hassle it is worth it.
