Brought my 2019 Honda H-RV for a 90k mile service. Got a few quotes from other shops and the local Honda dealership. SATO beat em by a few hundred. Same day turn around. Staff was friendly. Office is a little tight so maybe wait outside if you see someone else at the desk. Didn't seem like too much to do around thats walkable but with the money saved uber/Lyft was more than doable

The same guy who answers the phone is the same guy diagnosing the car. He’s not even a mechanic. All they did was lift my car, look around, talk amongst themselves, and lowered it. It took 10 mins and the phone guy quoted me thousands of dollars of repairs to fix the issue I had. I asked him how they knew these issues without touching the car and he said it’s a very common issue. Massive red flag ?. I ended up doing the work myself and the issue wasn’t anything the guy said it was! The guys strategy to fixing things is loading up the parts cannon looking for a pay day and not actually finding the issue first. Also they wanted to charge me more money for parts because they use “OEM”. That’s fine but when I asked to see the OEM part numbers listed on the quote he said he can’t do that. This place might be good for simple fixes but for anything that takes a professional to accurately diagnose, I’d go somewhere else. Any mechanic that can conjure the solution on your car, without touching it, is a red flag ?
