Elevators are awful. Have to use service elevator and those are slow and crowded too. Wait for elevator was never less than 3-4 minutes We stay at the New York Hilton Midtown every year when we come to visit our son, and we’ve always enjoyed the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, and the staff is typically friendly and welcoming. It’s why we continue to return. That’s why it’s disappointing to have to write this. During this stay, there was an accident in the room that required the sheets to be changed due to soiled bedding. When I contacted housekeeping, I was told nothing could be done until 4:30 PM because of a shift change. I fully understand that operational transitions happen. However, sanitation issues should never be delayed due to staffing logistics. Clean bedding is a basic expectation, not an upgraded service. As returning guests — and loyal Hilton members — this response was surprising and not aligned with the level of service we’ve come to expect here. I share this in hopes that coverage during shift transitions is reviewed so future guests aren’t put in a similar position.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Staying at the Hilton Midtown NYC was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Manhattan, just steps away from iconic spots like Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and Broadway theaters. Check-in was seamless, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodated. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered stunning city views that truly captured the magic of New York. The amenities were top-notch, including a well-equipped fitness center and comfortable lounge areas perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Dining at the hotel was equally impressive—delicious meals, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. Every interaction with the staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Whether you’re visiting NYC for business or leisure, the Hilton Midtown is the perfect home base. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to the city!

The location is honestly the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. I am here for four days while undergoing a transfer at a local fertility clinic, so I intentionally booked a King room so I could rest comfortably during that time. When I arrived after 9:00 p.m., I was told my room had been given to a family who decided to extend their stay — despite the fact that I had already paid roughly $1,400 for my reservation. I was then told I was being “upgraded” to a room with two double beds on a higher floor. I’m not sure how being stuck in a double bed for four days qualifies as an upgrade. After asking if a queen bed was at least an option, and after waiting quite a while, they eventually assigned me a different room. Unfortunately, when I entered the room after a full day of travel, it was clearly not cleaned. The bed was dirty, and the bathtub and sink looked as though someone had just shaved and no one bothered to clean up afterward. I had to call the front desk and request another room. The next room was cleaner, but the shower has a serious issue and spills water onto the bathroom floor. At this point I’m stuck here for four days due to my medical appointment, so I will make the best of it. However, based on this experience, I will absolutely not be staying here again in the future.
