Alex & his crew are fantastic! Over the last 2 years, they rebuilt the engine and transmission on my 86 Syncro as well as some smaller projects. They are extremely resourceful, knowledgeable, communicative, and trustworthy - Alex will always take the time to explain what is going on and find a solution that works for you. Alex is great at debugging and explaining things about vanagons, and their whole operation is organized and fairly priced as well.
