Charlie’s Towing in Ithaca went above and beyond for our family during an incredibly stressful time. After my mother was involved in a head-on collision, their team showed nothing but professionalism, kindness, and true compassion. They arrived promptly at the scene, allowed us to retrieve personal belongings from the car, and even held on to the license plates for us while we were out of state and focused on recovery. Every person I spoke to was polite, helpful, and understanding—and they always picked up the phone right away, which is rare and greatly appreciated. It’s clear this company cares about the people they serve. If you ever find yourself in need of towing or roadside assistance in the Ithaca area, Charlie’s Towing is the one to call. You simply won’t find better service.

Alec literally saved me this evening!!! I was stuck at the bottom of someone’s driveway and the AAA tow truck they called for me literally said they couldn’t and wouldn’t help me, and drove away….leaving me stranded there. So I called Charlie’s….which I should’ve called all along. I told him what happened and he said he’d come right out to help me. He was super nice, and got me and my car out of that god forsaken driveway so easily. He attached a pulley to my tire and pulled me up while I was in neutral. I literally hugged him when we got to the top because I was so relieved to be out of there. I had been stuck for 3 hours, unable to get up this person’s driveway. I am an Instacart shopper and had just done a delivery, and then could not get back up the driveway because it was too steep. AAA was a total disaster and didn’t help me at all. Needless to say, I will be submitting a massive complaint and a reimbursement request to AAA. So if you’re stuck somewhere….don’t hesitate…call Charlie’s! They are fantastic!

My car had died on a busy street. Charlie’s was awesome! Great customer service, reasonable price, and flexible with timing. Looked into another spot and they were double the price and said they would not refund if battery wasn’t jumped. Charlie’s assured me I would only pay for the tow if it my battery did not charge. Relieved to see high-quality customer service this day and age.
