Today, March 5, 2026, I unfortunately blew out two tires due to potholes. I submitted a roadside assistance request through GEICO, and they assigned Gemma’s Towing & Automotive. Within three minutes of submitting the request, I received a call from Peter letting me know he would be there in no more than 30 minutes. That alone was absolutely fantastic. Getting such a quick call and having someone be so transparent about the timing was incredibly reassuring in a stressful situation. When Peter arrived, he was extremely professional, kind, and empathetic. He immediately put me at ease and handled everything calmly and efficiently. It is clear he truly cares about helping people, and he was a pleasure to deal with during what could have been a very frustrating situation. Peter is a wonderful representation of this company. If the rest of the team at Gemma’s Towing & Automotive is anything like him, I highly recommend them. Truly excellent service.

Joe at Gemma’s in Uniondale is truly one of the good ones. My son accidentally damaged his bumper near Hofstra, and Joe told him to come right over. He fixed it on the spot and wouldn’t even charge him. Honest, kind, and professional. Highly recommend.

I hit a huge pothole on the Meadowbrook parkway and blew my tire and was stuck on the side of the road. My insurance company connected me to Gemma’s and the dispatcher expedited the call to her driver and in less than 30 minutes road side assisted was there to help change my tire. Beyond impressed and grateful for their quick service and response! Highly recommend!
