Im 57 yrs old many mechanics auto shops. Vehicles. A & R is the absolute best, most honest, professional, prompt. Even had it towed for me, unlike jeep dealer makes me get my own tow services. And jeep said it would take 7 to 10 days before they could even look at it to diagnose the issue. A&R less than 24 hour turn around time. Just amazing. And the price if I would have went to dealership quadruple knowing them. Not kidding. I leave a lot of reviews good and bad this auto repair shop deserves 6 stars.

Edit: Called about an estimate on 6/11 and then made an appointment on 8/27. Was called about the appointment and told about the ludicrous pricing on the 27th. So no the car was never physically brought into the shop but two phone calls were made regarding it. Both phones calls were with Dennis. 180 diagnostic fee was included in the 1000 total which is still insane. Horrible response to claim this dialogue never happened. Unless you don’t take record of phone calls or there are multiple 2003 Volvos with cluster issues. This shop has good reviews, so I’m not sure what happened in my case, but my experience was really disappointing. I made an appointment for a dashboard cluster repair for my 2003 Volvo, and when they called me back, the estimate was around $1,000, including a $180 diagnostic fee just to check the wiring. They were going to send it off to a separate repair company. Which is fine but the price they gave is ludicrous.I have no idea what place they could be sending this off to that would justify a price that high. The person I spoke with was rude and dismissive. I’m not sure if it was because of my age, but it felt very unprofessional. If you look up some mail cluster repairs, you’ll see specialized shops charge far less. Auto Tech Rescue charges about $150 to $200 repair plus shipping. Circuit Board Medics charges about $180 to $220 repair plus shipping. Automotive Circuit Solutions charges about $150 to $250 repair plus shipping. I originally planned to let a mechanic handle it, but after this estimate, I will just send it directly to a repair service for about $180 total with shipping. Overall, the attitude, the pricing, and the experience were unacceptable. I would not recommend this mechanic for any service. If you need a repair, you are better off going to another shop.

I came across A & R after no longer wanting to deal with the dealership and I’ve been taking my car for maintenance for a little over 6 months now and everything from the call to schedule an appointment to picking up my car from the appointment has been nothing but a smooth and easy experience. Any concerns regarding my car I’ve been explained thoroughly and given the correct guidance on what to do. Don’t hesitate to bring your car to this shop, you won’t regret it!
