Customer reviews of Plan B Towing in Bartlett, TN
4.1 stars based on 16 reviews- CCateriyon Lewis
If I could give zero stars, I would. They’re rude and completely unprofessional from start to finish. On top of that, they handled my vehicle carelessly and acted like they were doing me a favor. Avoid this towing company at all costs. The staff was unbelievably rude from the moment they picked up the phone—short, dismissive, and acting like helping me was a burden. When I finally showed up, they were even more obnoxious in person. On top of that, they charged far more than what they initially quoted and seemed focused only on squeezing out every dollar they could. The whole experience felt money‑hungry and unprofessional. I would NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone.

Very professional and took great caution with my brother's lowered ram. The guy who came treated the truck like it was a million dollar super car. Thank y'all very much and thank you for being so professional

We had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at Plan B Towing on Summer Avenue. My husband, our two teenage sons (ages 13 and 15), and I went there to retrieve personal items from our truck. My husband wasn’t sure where to go, so he walked toward a man standing outside to ask for directions. Instead of offering help or simply redirecting him, the man immediately responded with a threat—saying something along the lines of “you can’t be back here, you’ll get shot.” My husband was not being aggressive or trying to force his way in—he was just asking where to go. That kind of language is completely unacceptable, especially in front of children. Additionally, a woman was sitting outside watching us the entire time, which is fine, but she was positioned so close—right by the driveway with a trailer—that it made it difficult for us to pull in and transfer items. The whole interaction felt hostile and unnecessarily aggressive. This experience was frustrating and unsettling. A simple explanation of where to go would have been enough. I would not recommend this business based on how we were treated today. UPDATE I’m truly disappointed by your response. My husband simply asked for directions while standing with our two teenage sons. He was not being aggressive or “snooping,” just trying to figure out where to go. Being met with a threat like “you’ll get shot” was shocking especially in front of our children. We came to retrieve personal items from our vehicle, not to cause trouble. The language used in your reply, especially referring to us as “ghetto,” is incredibly hurtful and unnecessary. We approached the situation calmly and respectfully, and we expected the same in return. This could have been handled so differently. A little kindness and clear communication go a long way, especially when people are already dealing with the stress of an accident. After leaving my honest review, the business owner responded by calling my Black family “ghetto lawbreakers,” accused us of “snooping,” and tried to justify a threat of violence made toward my husband in front of our two teenage sons. We came calmly and respectfully to retrieve personal property, nothing more. We were met with hostility and then labeled in ways that felt racially charged and deeply inappropriate. This kind of response from a business that works with the city and the public is unacceptable. I’m sharing this because others especially families of color deserve to know how we were treated.
