I wish we were provided a "0" score to give to this center. In general, the people working at most of the "convenience" centers are rude and always have been. But the "manager" of this dump took it to a whole, different level. He tried told me I couldn't toss my trash from inside my truck bed, which made absolutely no sense. I've been doing it this way for 30 years without a problem. I'm a woman and senior citizen as well as a disabled vet. It forces people to throw everything in the nearest ditch...it would be much easier.This is clearly a case of discrimination since no other center knows anything about such a ridiculous rule. Then when I reported it, I got chewed out. And while I'm venting, they should be reported for not having adecuate and equal access to the bins for handicapped individuals and senior citizens. The last time I checked, businesses are required to do this. I'm short and there was NO WAY I could reach into the truck bed from the ground. Also, it has never been included on the website's list of rules. Naturally, if someone is being singled out, it makes that person pretty angry.

Easy in, easy out (though look out for the Lake Michigan sized potholes when getting back on the highway!). Friendly staff. Had a brief conversation with one of the employees, he said if people broke down their boxes and put what’s trash in the trash it would go a lot more quickly. So if they’re grumpy, maybe it’s you?

Marshall Knob recycling center was easy to find using GPS. High traffic roadway so be careful pulling in. Hours clearly marked. Employees present to direct vehicles/drivers. Had to ask for clarification on procedure to recycle cardboard (where to park etc) and was greeted civilly and given clear instructions. Glad we have this facility.
