We had a motor issue with a 2007 Ford F150. What ended up us having to purchase another motor. We wanted a NEW motor. We were told they don’t sell new motors. We found that as FALSE… This is what Lino the owner told us. FORD dealers told us the mechanic could have bought it straight from them. Well this so call motor didn’t last 35k miles. We kept taking it back for service after the new motor was installed and problem was NEVER fixed. Owner Lino could not come up with his invoice proving that he bought a NEW motor. Lino came up with excuses that he could not find that the invoice is probably in a box. Who the hell keeps invoices in boxes ? Well he kept our truck for months until the warranty expired. This was the worst experience having to deal with such an incompetent mechanic shop. I will NEVER recommend this shop to friends and families. He rips you off and doesn’t fix problems. On top of the NEW motor, an expense of $500+ was added to replace , belts, hoses, spark plugs, coils, oil and oil filter. Well when we purchased out 2nd motor, could started dropping like flies. How funny if the coils should have been replaced with the 1st motor. Well we had to pay again to replace the coils when these coils only had 30k miles. What a loser of a mechanic. So sad that he treats customers like this…. But SANTANA mechanics did the work on the 2nd motor and our truck rungs GREAT!!! Watch yourself if you bring your vehicles to Alamo City Garage.

Not only did the guys fix the oil leaks that I was having, they noticed other things along the way, and notified me about these issues, and I had them all fixed as well. Great service, competent mechanics, and a great shop. Def an auto shop you want to build a relationship with. Total cost of repair was definitely lower than I was expecting based on my research. I found my mechanic, and it's Alamo City Garage. Highly recommend!

I took my 1980 Chevy Blazer in to get some carb and transmission work done. They were quick and easy to work with. The transmission still had a leak after I got it home so I took it back and they quickly and diligently resolved the issue at no additional cost. Good shop and good people.
