Although the mechanic, who was the owner, was competent he pads the bill as much as he can. I blew an airline 10 minutes from his shop so I decided to use his service. He quoted $95 per hour. He spent less than 2 hours on the job but the bill was nearly $400. He charged me an hour and a quarter to to drive 10 minutes because he said he had to gather his tools. $60 for 2 feet of airline and a coupling. This guy just tries to take advantage of a stranded truckers. I don't mind paying $95 an hour for roadside service but I don't appreciate receiving a bill nearly double of what I was quoted.
