The Tesla charging stations in this part of Texas are few and far between. I learned that the hard way on a dark and stormy night about 4 miles from the station in Livingston! Fortunately, the car gave me a 30 second warning of impending complete power loss, which allowed me to pull off the highway and into a empty parking lot. After calling 6 towing companies in the area who either were too busy or didn’t answer the phone (voicemail), I lucked out with Clifton in Corrigan. The driver (George) showed up in 20 minutes and patiently worked with me to figure the quirky requirements for towing a Tesla without damaging it (ie: don’t close the driver’s door without power or keep window open to reach in and use manual door release, pop the hood by connecting a 12 v jumper cable to the small wires in the hole where the left- handed thread tow hook screws into, pop the plastic battery cover off inside the hood, attach 12 vdc jumper cables to the lithium battery, wait for the control screen to power up, go to settings and put car into “Transport Mode” to release the parking brake). Whew! George was great, and got me safely to the charge station! He even came back to deliver my phone after I left it in his truck. George’s boss on the phone was also very helpful. Highly recommended. Tow cost was $225 by the way. Lesson learned!

Clifton towing went above and beyond what they had to do when my car was totaled. I had our stockshow rabbits in the car and we were taken by EMS from the scene of the accident and they towed my car to the lot and took my rabbits into the office so they didn’t have a heat stroke. Then they took care of them until someone could get there to pick them up. Definitely recommend them and definitely would choose them if I need to be towed again.

Received quick service and calls along route to make sure that the guy was on the right pathway to pick up my 2017 Nissan Frontier. Wheel bearing on driver side went, and tire came off. I highly recommend using Clifton Chevrolet Towing and Recovery service. Thank you so much!!!
