I was given Richard’s number to help tow my vehicle off the side of the highway after I broke down in the middle of the night traveling alone back to Georgia. Richard didn’t leave me until we figured out the issue, he helped me get gas in the truck and tried to get it started for me, once the vehicle wouldn’t start Richard made sure I was somewhere safe for the night until a shop would open up the next morning. And even came back for me the next morning to tow the vehicle to the nearest mechanic shop, and was going to come back to tow me to Houston for a fair price if we couldn’t get the problem fixed. I’m so grateful for all his help I would have been stranded if it wasn’t for him. I feel as if I couldn’t tip this man enough money. He is very friendly with a genuine personality, He makes you feel comfortable and safe in your time of need. This company is lucky to have him as an employee. My wife is a professional singer who sometimes does out-of-town gigs and has to drive home long distances, alone, at night. Her Toyota Highlander has been great and reliable transportation for her and her music equipment... until last night (Sunday 5/26). On her way home (Dickinson area) from a gig in Palacios TX, she had an electrical system malfunction, that resulted in the motor dying (among other things). Thankfully, the band leader and his wife were there to park behind her and push her car off to the side, out of the lane of traffic. The first tow company they called was unavailable, but they recommended Richard Valdez of Big Tows who thankfully was on duty and available. He was there in less than 10 minutes, had her loaded on his heavy-duty flatbed quickly and began the 98 mile (per Google) trip toward home. I can't even adequately express how grateful we all were to find Richard and Big Tow. Getting to know him personally was even better. My wife said on the phone that he was extremely kind, reassuring and immediately got her into his cab out of the night air and potential traffic danger. Once they were here at our house, I found out everything she said was true; friendly, funny, professional and very fair. I could go on longer, but to conclude, if I lived ANYWHERE near El Campo and needed a tow at any time of night or day, I would absolutely call Richard first (uploaded a pic of his business card). And, even though we live about a hundred miles from there, I guarantee he will be our first call if we ever need a tow anywhere, because you never know if he might be available. This husband is so very grateful to Richard for being so kind and reassuring to my wife, who was experiencing her first breakdown, at night, in unfamiliar territory. What was a very unfortunate experience for us was resolved in the best way imaginable, for which we will always be grateful. Thanks again, Richard, and Big Tows LLC!
