2 out of the 3 times I’ve taken metal here he won’t accept it because he says it smells like gas and his neighbors will complain. The metal hasn’t even been around gas and came from the same pile he accepted once. He has fuel tanks sitting all around his yard also. I don’t recommend this place take your metal elsewhere probably get a better price also.

Never going back there. This place is so disorganized. He started making excuses for copper, aluminum etc and gets rude with you. If you do go here I suggest weighing at a weigh station before and after you load to make sure they are not ripping you off. 2.00 per battery and I can take them elsewhere and get 6.00-8.00 each. Yes I will go elsewhere from now on. Don't go on a Monday either..... it says on the gate they are open yet the gates are closed and noone is there. If you're driving a good distance it is very frustrating.

I gave this scrap yard another shot, but never again. After weighing in and waiting over 20 minutes to back into an unloading slot, the same employee who checked me in came out to tell me they don’t accept barbed wire. Why wasn’t this mentioned when I weighed in or listed clearly anywhere? That kind of miscommunication wastes everyone’s time. This location is disorganized and the staff isn't trained to communicate basic policies. It’s incredibly frustrating and inefficient. You're better off driving a little further to Gonzales.
