I want to send a great big Thank You to the folks at Llano Station Auto Repair. My wife and I were driving from Kyle to San Angelo when we stopped at Sonic to grab a bite to eat. When we started pulling out of the stall there was a scraping noise. When we looked we saw that the splash guard had disconnected from the front of the car, but was still connected farther back of the engine compartment. I had no tools, and I am handicapped, so I went off to find something or someone who could help. As I walked down Young Street I happened to walk in front of their shop. With a little panic and a lot of concern, I went in and told them what had happened. Right away they sent one of their mechanics to our car, and he did a remarkable job putting the guard together and attaching it back to the car. The folks at the shop let me know that there would be no charge, but I gave the mechanic a tip for his help. My wife and I are so thankful that there are still businesses out there willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need. I highly recommend Llano Station for your automotive repair needs.

Wow, this place amazed me. My sister's car stopped accelerating on our drive home. We found this place and they were so efficient with the diagnostic process and thankfully it was a quick fix. Big shout out to Arty at the front desk!

Update from owner's response: What owner replied is correct, however, nothing was done to window at all. This is not an issue on waiting for parts. When I got to my car the window was down. Nothing done as stated before and handed a broken key fob that was not before. There was even a large roll of duct tape in back. If they had even attempted to do what they said they would or placed what i had back, there wouldnt be a review just for the fob. Fob or vehicle gave no low battery signal before. They told me the issue they had and replaced battery for free. Ok, but failed to mention that it's now broken while they probably opened it. Key no longer fits at all in it and wont close all the way. Free battery vs broken fob. Bottom line: While Art communicated perfect there was an obvious disconnect to guys in back and simple service/effort and no coms about broken remote. 6 hours is plenty of time to put contraption or tape window back up. Original Post: Back passenger window kept sliding down. Took my car in here and went into detail about the window. Also mentioned sound coming from engine. Was told the car wouldn't start so they replaced the battery in the fob. Weird because I just drove in but ok. The cost of the window would be around $500. Front wheel assembly had to be replaced. Chose to do that and lay off the window for now. They said they could use a shimmy and duct tape it to stay up for now. Ok I told them. After 3 hours of waiting I was told my front brake pads needed to be replaced. Wasn't too thrilled but ok. After over 6 hours I finally get it back to nothing at all done on the window and my key fob broken. Almost $500 in and over 6 hours of waiting. Find another mechanic!
