Wow! Another gem in the valley. This business is actually called “Car Check Auto Service” and is at a corner next to “Harry’s Oil Change.” Incredibly talented and honest mechanics who attended to me immediately after a suspected oil leak from a faulty oil plug. Kudos to Jeff who is knowledgeable, thoughtful and thorough. Highly recommend this unpretentious business. They will take good care of you at a very reasonable price for the high level of work. I live in Houston but do come down here frequently to visit family, get my haircut and do my oil changes. Now I’ll make sure that my car gets serviced here.

So very thankful for them.. I went in there ready to replace shocks because my truck kept jerking and making loud sounds when turning or going fast. They did test drive and lifted it to see what it was.. After looking at it, he showed me it was just one of my tires being loose. He tightened and just charged me a small fee for it. I was so grateful for their honesty. What I thought was gonna cost me hundreds was just dollars. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes

I was on my way to Corpus and I suddenly heard a noise when I would break. I decided to stop with car check and it was the best decision! They right away saw my problem and were able to help me even though they were closing in a hour! They did the work so fast! They were all kind, welcoming, professional and helpful!!
