AC Condenser was leaking. Watched a video, realized the exhaust manifold would need to be removed, decided to take it in, exhaust studs can be a bear. I typically do all of my own auto repair for the last 25 yrs. Service rep called and said we found a crack in the exhaust manifold you will save money replacing it now as we need to take it off anyway. Hmmm was just running car, had my head under the car, heard nothing. Said ok, but figured the tech cracked it. Got the car back, was charged for a new manifold from NAPA and some exhaust studs. Car immediately through an error code for down stream O2 sensor. Looked at the work, they sold me a USED manifold ( I confirmed it with NAPA they would never sell a rusted manifold with boneyard chalk markings on it.) Down pipe was dented pretty bad where tech tried to align the manifold buy using a stand or hitting it. Anyway beat so bad the catalytic converter that was fine and the filter pulverized. Went back to West Side, talked to Bruce. I basically accused him of fraud for selling used parts and he just kept shuffling papers, wouldn't look me in the eye and said, " thats what was in the box." This begs two questions, 1. why would you use it? 2. How did you know, did you do the repair? When someone is wrongly accusing you of something you typically have no issue looking them in the eye. So, repaired with used parts and charged for new. Bashed down pipe and destroyed catalytic converter. Can't prove tech didn't crack manifold but I suspect it. 20 year customer, never again. Sucks to leave this review but.....own it. I would fire the tech that did it, not stick it on the customer. I see you responded to the review. Having a receipt from NAPA means nothing when you put used parts on a car. I already replaced the cat pipe. How do you explain that part on my car? Everyone, below is a pic of a supposed brand new 2 day old exhaust manifold that Bruce has the receipt for. Thanks for not answering the question Bruce. If you paid NAPA for a new manifold, why did you install this junkyard piece? You billed me for a new one?

I had issues with a loud exhaust and took my vehicle to another local shop and was quoted over 2k to fix my 2005 Toyota Camry exhaust. Took it to Westside and it cost me $270. The next day o got an oil change at Valvoline and the techs asked me who did my exhaust. I told them Westside and they said it looked like the weld job came from the factory they did such a good job. I will definitely be a returning customer!!

We have brought our daughter's car in for service multiple times and each time they have addressed the issue at hand without leaving us feeling pressured to address things that were not neccessarily the main issue. The pricing of repairs has been fair and reasonable. It's why we keep going back to them even though were nearly an hour away. Our daughter has even been able to take her car there herself and never felt talked down to or manipulated in any way. We appreciate the kindness and great attitudes of everyone there.
