Overall, positive experience. Auto Stop Elite has serviced my car three times now – breaks and starter replacements, and wheel realignment. The location is convenient, has good business hours, never had issue getting appointment, facility is modern and very clean, and staff is very professional and friendly. I noticed some reviews complaining how expensive they are. I will be honest, they are not the cheapest, as I have done price comparisons with other independent auto shops with dealership service departments. However, what sets them apart is that they are thorough and hire seasoned and skilled technicians who do the job right – the first time. Two examples: During my very first visit, I really appreciated that Mina took the time to look up the history of my vehicle, which avoided unnecessary service quoted by the car dealership and saved me a lot of money. Just recently, I had a wheel alignment done at the dealership and my car just didn’t feel right. I brought into Auto Stop Elite and now my car is driving straight again. One suggestion and one gripe. Suggestion: Please have automated appointment reminders for your customers (via email and text). I made an appointment while at work and put it on my calendar as I was on the call. However, as I am about to take my car in, I get a text asking if I am still able to make my appointment. Puzzled, upon arrival, I said the appointment was at X time, but they calmly said no, it was X time, but they would still take me. I didn’t want to debate it, but when I went back to work to double check, I had the correct time. I am quite OCD when it comes to remembering appointment times, especially when I just made it a few hours ago and wrote it down. Okay, so if I have one gripe, it is this. I referred my husband to them who only got an oil change. Just yesterday, he gets a $100 coupon in the mail for any service over $100. My repairs stated above is WAY MORE than an oil change and I got nuttin’. C’mon now Ben. Where is the love? ?

Excellent service. They know what they're doing. But after reviewing parts online and using chatgpt to find proper repair rates and hour needed for oil pan change and engine mounts, I may have overpaid by $1k. I had to use them as I had no option as oil was leaking bad and engine was making noise and couldn't wait another week to find competitors. Will use someone else for other issues they identifies Response to the owner: Glad we have chatgpt to fact check in real time. Again appreciate you for service. But any good shop can provide excellent service and warranty too. 1) High-end aftermarket brands like Lemförder or Corteco are often the actual manufacturers of Audi's parts. Buying these without the "Audi" logo can save 30–60% while providing the exact same quality. If they used this to justify a $510 charge for mounts that MSRP for roughly $376 total, they are applying a significant markup on top of an already premium part. 2) Even for Sterling, a labor charge of $994 for engine mounts is nearly double the national average labor cost of $267–$392. 3) oil change: Your Bill: They charged you $88.21 for a 5QT jug that retails for $27–$38. The Markup: This is roughly a 130% to 220% markup. Even for a high-end shop in Northern Virginia, this is considered an aggressive "premium" price. 4) Audi oil change is often around $130–$150. By charging you nearly $190, this shop effectively charged you dealership prices (or higher) under the guise of being an independent specialist. Summary: The shop is likely telling the truth that they provide high-quality parts, specialized service, and a long warranty. However, they are likely omitting that they are charging you a "convenience and peace-of-mind tax" of nearly $1,000 on top of the actual market value of the work. I would really like you to convince me I was not overcharged by $1k compared to other excellent repair shops. Lastly, a 3 star review in my opinion isn't low. its the right balance between excellent service and overpaying.

This was my first visit to Auto Stop Elite, Sterling, VA facility, though ... based on fliers I received from them in the past ... I had intended to visit to see what they were all about. I was very impressed with what I saw and experienced! These folks aim to please! They ran my vehicle through a COMPREHENSIVE "first look" process. Then I was given a full choice, item/item, of what was discovered (accompanied by pictures). My vehicle was older, but loved, and I want to keep it in the best shape possible (being retired, and seeing the cost of not only new, but used cars, I'm sticking with the tried/true). I liked the way the possibilities were presented; at no time did I feel pressure to do anything. The Service Manager of our local facility, Jason Bazensky, gave solid advice, and I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish with confidence. Do I recommend this facility? You bet! Happy to be yet another new customer!
