I had heard about Big Ivy Lumber Co. thru word-of-mouth. Mr. Frierson came to our place to review what was a stack of walnut logs which we had plucked from our Hurricane Helene swollen creek. What a lucky break. I have had timber sawn previously and Mr. Frierson was spot-on with his estimate. Better yet, he arrived when he said that he would. The resulting lumber was cut to requested specification. It was also segregated into both structural and decorative stacks. Whenever there was a question concerning the better cut we discussed it. The WOODMIZER sawmills capabilites were exercised and away we went. This was most satisfying. Only later was I told that there was a website.
