I went to Shannon's Twisted Steel Garage to get my battery terminals cleaned and to get my MAF sensor checked out and cleaned. I could have cleaned my battery myself but I was feeling extra lazy and decided to swallow the cost of the cleaning- the shop minimum of $100. I figured my sensor might be throwing my codes and partially the reason for my car stuttering and reading the fuel as too rich. Welp. I was told that there was no MAF sensors in "any turbo" engines especially my WRX. I told the mechanic that my Accessport was reading the MAF sensor and giving me live data. He told me I was wrong. I told him he was wrong. I knew I was bringing it to a tuner over the weekend so I just let him have his moment of triumph. There is in fact a MAF sensor- picture included for clarity of discussion. I was charged the $100 minimum despite not getting the "non-existent" sensor cleaned. They tried to charge me an extra $25 for "parts" this being the few squirts of brake cleaning fluid to clean the battery terminals- I disputed this charge and it was dropped off the bill. As a woman this sits wrong with me and I am disappointed by how it was handled and the price charged despite not receiving the requested services and being talked down to. I'm sure they are good at what they do because there are overwhelming positive reviews unfortunately my experience was not.

They seem to be alright. I had a pitman arm replaced on my GMC 2500. Its driving fine. I had them mount a set of 37" tires I had. Same size I had them take off. I'm not sure if they balanced them or not. Around 55mph & up it gets a death wobble. My old tires were the same size and it rode smooth like a Cadillac. But other than that I guess they're okay.

Called for emergency roadside assistance on Sunday afternoon for a flat tire on my bus. Responded quickly with excellent service, very professional & friendly. Highly recommend & I will be doing more business with them.
