On February 22nd, which I only remember because of the blizzard coming the following day, I walked into the store looking for salt to clear my driveway. As I looked around and saw that, sadly, there was none left and I was too late, I came across the grills in the corner of the store. I needed to replace mine, and looked around a bit to see several brands with several options and tons of peripherals and I was COMPLETELY overwhelmed. One of the employees, Stefan, must have noticed the confused look on my face, because he spent the next 30 minutes or so going over the entirety of the differences, their pros and cons based on my concerns, and ultimately encouraged me to find what was right for my household, which I did. That alone was enough to earn my trust as a customer, but at one point, a fellow employee approached him (it sounded like he may have been a manager of some kind) and interrupted to ask about his shift the following day during the blizzard. Stefan clearly told him that as important as it was to come in, his safety came first, and to only come in if he could do so carefully. It is this kind of hometown store that is lost on a world full of online shopping and big box warehouse stores. I will be returning, and often, and I will be looking for Stefan to help me decide which stone will look best on my new patio to match the furniture I hope to shop for in the store.
