Really easy time ordering the parts. Granted, I had all of the information they needed ready. Despite that, whoever picked up the phone was kind, easy to talk to.

Not sure who I dealt with, but I was referred to the location by another used auto parts store. Great service. Even help me find a different part that still fit my car. Would recommend.

Gave them a call needed a bumper for my vehicle. Greeted him with a good morning and he replied rudely “that’s irrelevant johnnys auto parts what do you need?” I immediately told him never mind and hung up the phone. This man will never get my business.

I absolutely love going here, for batteries or to scrap metal. The staff is the friendliest and will go into detail if you ask questions. This is a great business with great people working for them.

-Best Scrap Yard I’ve Ever Visited- I’ve been dealing with scrap yards my whole life and usually don’t look forward to it. I heard good things about Calamari’s and brought a big trailer full of mixed metals there recently. I called ahead and spoke with a very kind employee in the office who explained their procedures. When I arrived they weighed me in and again was very kind and pleasant to deal with. I had many different types of metal on my trailer (Lead, copper, aluminum, steel) and they patiently explained where to go and how to get weighed in at various places in the yard. Helpful employees then helped us unload and get weighed in. The guy running the crane was kind enough to unload my trailer with two sweeps of his enormous electro-magnet, saving me at least 20 min. of unload time! Overall I was seriously impressed by Calamari’s- The place was organized, clean, and very user friendly- Their employees where very nice to work with (which generally isn’t the case with typical scrap yards). They run a fair operation- they paid me a very fair sum for my various metals. They also suggested that I would be allowed to purchase any metal from the scrap yard which sounded like a very exciting thought for future DIY projects.

Dropped off a damaged car rim…was in and out in 10 minutes. Very friendly person in the office. Received $21 cash for a damaged rim that would have gone to the town recycling.

Great experience! Anton was friendly and helpful in the removal of a number of old filing cabinets, shelves & tables! Pick up was timely within a couple of days of my call and the guys who came to remove the scrap metal were kind and courteous! Not to mention the pricing was very fair and reasonable, highly recommend!

I drove 2 hrs from NYC and it was worth every mile. When you call Ask for TOMMY, he went beyond and above to help me get transmission and transfer case for my Mercedes. All the parts match description and serial numbers. Here no monkey business allowed, but only real people with real parts.. they store everything in warehouse so all the mechanical parts stay in good condition and lubricated and ready to be installed. Def I would do business with them again.

Somebody smash my car driving away secretly. Not graceful. I come to Seymore buying replacement. I include photo's. They sending me big warehouse. But across street warehouse is big powerful police building many police. One police in car staring at me Im driving smashed out light. He have pity no ticket no arrest. I replace headlight there driving away waving policeman. He no wave back.

Easy in and out. Polite staff. Detailed receipt listing all scrapped metal types and weights. You're better off breaking things down but they just paid me $0.15/lb for assembled fixtures.

This place is better than any in Hartford and pays the best, I have been there like three times a week, and also been to city and sims but also noticed that there was something wrong with the pay every time was different even if the weight was the same they not being straight
