Best Scrap Yard I've Ever been to! And I don't throw that out lightly. Ive been all over the country. The Prices are on point, Always a pleasant Experience!! Told Bill one day I was looking to get into Blacksmithing and he had this AMAZING anvil in the back with my name on it!!! XD

The people are nice but they think their too slick I brough motors aluminum separate as well as stainless tell me why they weighed everything together ? When it’s supposed to be separate If you don’t know they will rip u off I’ll never come here again your suppose to do business the right way

Used to love this place because Bill calls you by your name, sends you a Christmas card, and hands you a bottle of water on hot days. I had never paid attention to what I was getting for money but the last time I was there he screwed me on my payment in 3 ways. He paid me for less pounds than the scale inside showed (inside on the smaller scale). When he multiplied the # of pounds by the price his total was less than the real total. And then when he added up the totals of the 3 different metals, he paid me less than the total. Absolutely unbelievable that after years of going to this guy, that's what he was doing. All in all, this time he paid me about $35 less than what I gave him between those 3 "miscalculations" all in his favor. I saw it on my receipt after I drove away. Like I said, he would send me a Christmas card and even offered me a job a few times, but now he'll never see my face again. Dishonest.

Beware Shady business. Been here a few times and everytime I'm told I'm getting the best price but I can't see the scale and when I ask the weight changes each time. It's convenient but not recommended. Go to G and S which is further but they are much better and less shady.

Great scrapyard in Manchester, Ct. They are super friendly here and unlike most scrapyard they help you unload your truck. Great service and fair prices, plus they are open on Saturdays. Thumbs wayyy up to Ostrinsky scrap. 👍

I have been going to ostrinkys scrap metal for years i knew the old man there and i now know bill hes been running the buisness for some years now hes an upstanding guy very kind hardworking and honest its like being with family when your there talking with bill my children always loved to go there and bill would always give them stuff water candys quarters for the candy machine doughnuts toys my son had found in the scrap etc ni matter when i go there he always asks hiw my children are how i am and how my family is i highly recommend this buisness and the people who manage it

The folks that run this place are great! I've been there twice now, I didn't have a lot of items for recycling, but that didn't matter. They were very nice to me and my daughter. I would definitely recommend you bring your scrap metal and wires and the other items they accept to them!
