This is the first time I have ever felt the need to review a place, unfortunately. So after a moderate wait to get in touch with someone, I had a phone conversation looking for a part and clarifying that they had it on hand. There were two possible options, they said they had both on hand. I asked if I could match my current one up to make sure I received the correct one, they said yes. I explained that for my job, I am rarely in town, so didn't know until usually the day of, if I would be able to make it in... also mentioned that I lived farther away, they said not a problem. Fast forward roughly a week, I had some time to make it there during their difficult to make business hours. Took me roughly 4 hours round trip, and over $30 in gas, only to walk in and be told that they don't have the parts on hand, they are at a sister location, a state away. After that, they also told me that they wouldn't have pulled it same day anyways. I mentioned how far I drove, after having a phone conversation with a representative the week prior, they didn't even apologize for the lack of communication or anything. Needless to say if I was supposed to know without saying that they don't pull parts same day, and that they would lie to me about having a part on hand for me to check... they are not someone I would recommend doing business with. They should also know without me saying to them, that this review would be posted, and that I will never do any business with them. I guess the only redeeming quality was that since no one was rude, they deserve one star.

They will try and pay you scrap price for all the metal brought in. Its worth the drive to go to oneals where they help you unload and are way more friendly! Adkins will never get my business again. I drive the extra distance to avoid them!

We showed up with a trailer of barrels and they turned us down because the barrels need to be cut in half even tho the tip lids were off and they were drained

I came here back when it was ran by 2 of the sweetest ladies known to man. Circa-2013 ish until 2022 ish. I have tens if not hundreds of ever-so-fond memories here. See the last pics. Fast forward, someone who I know the name of but will not share, got way too big for his pants and wanted to “change the game” of auto salvage. For the first few months of his ownership, it was okay. But then we saw probably the most easily preventable and drastically impacting downfall ever. I still had hope. So took my little brother today to see the ground I grew up going to with my dad, and instead of nostalgia I was greeted with morbid/copious amounts of grief. What once housed just shy of 2,000 junk cars is now merely a field with a fence around it. So congratulations to mister ‘Ace midtown’ I hope you got what you wanted in the end. Even if you do drive every yard on that entire alley out of business you’ll drive just as many if not more employees and former customers against you. You ruin aacme, now Westside, what’s next? Hopefully we don’t get to find out. Quit while you’re shrewd with the silly “junkyard AI” bull. I do find it funny how you promised a customer that “Anthony was an exprimental AI, but we will soon have 24/7 auto parts!” And now look where you are. I wish you the best as a person, truly. But PLEASE stop buying and ruining junkyards. I beg of you.

I drive here from Lebanon, because they have always been more than fare to me. They always help me and never make me wait. Treat me with respect and know me by name only after the 2nd or 3rd visit. They also have the best prices around.

These people are very friendly and nice and very honest and what I got was exactly what was described to me. If I ever need anything else these are the guys to go to! Great prices too.

The first time was a good Experience, the truck weighed 5960 with the cans we had 100lb of cans an after you drop the cans off you go on the scale again well the truck by itself weighs 5860. The second time we went today he told us he wished we would shove the cans up our but! very rude! We dropped the cans off a weighed the truck again without cans an it said the truck weighed 5940 with cans an 5840 without an we had 100lbs again how? How can the truck weight change? They rippped us off do NOT GO THERE!!!

Doesn’t answer or ever return phone calls. Very shady. Use Universal Salvage Co. they’re friendly and… they PICK up the PHONE!!!!

You couldnt ask for a better guy but warrens scrap yard is closed. He has sold everything out.

I went here a long time ago with 2 friends to recycle some things which was mostly scrap and one fridge. My friends had experience, I didn't and I was pretty young. They said theyd make my account an appliance account and if that was "ok" and I didn't know the difference. It came out to only $40 and my friends just looked at each other, they were surprised. It should have been at least $120. I'll never know if that lady pocketed the money, or was being racist towards my friends, or what the heck happened that day. That happened over 8 years ago but i just needed to get that off my chest. Treat people bad, they remember.

OMG!!! This owner is awesome!!!! We bought a windshield for my Dad Truck and this guy took his time to replaced it .It was Hard work but he did it. He was helpful,friendly and patient!!! Thanks so much Chuck I recomend this place 100%
