Called around the Jackson area to see how much I could sell my old beat up Mazda for. These guys were great quoted me a little bit higher than most places I’d called in the area. They even picked up the car from me. Most places were paying a lot less and I had to get it towed to them. When Jimmy arrived to my address the process was so easy and he was amazingly friendly and efficient. I got a quote of $166 approx. 2 weeks ago and sent the cat in. Got an email confirming they received it and payment was being mailed. When I received the check today it was only for $66, so I called and they confirmed it was the wrong amount and would mail another check for the balance of $100. I will upgrade the 2 stars to 4 if I actually receive it. We'll see. In all fairness, this is actually a great way to handle the cats. Simple and easy.Update: Rockaway not only sent the remainder of my payment, it was $10 more than expected. I'm giving them 5 stars for expediency, fair pricing, ease of use, and truthfulness. These guys are great to do business with. Thumbs up.

I called for a quote. I was given an acceptable quote within a minute...no back and forth. Once I was ready for my car to be picked up, I called them and they said a dispatcher will call me back to set up a convenient time...schedule set, my car was picked up within 3 minutes of when they said they would be here. Excellent service.

I would recommend them to anyone,Pete and George were very helpful with the engine I needed for my 03 Hyundai Santa Fe,it was exactly as Pete stated for condition and grade. After talking to Pete on the phone for 5minutes, I felt like I had known him forever,and he was a good friend. I came to the yard with enough time to unload before they close. since it was my first time by a scrapyard. I asked the worker how it worked. he asked me to show him what I had once he saw what I had he said no I can't drop it off! Because he saw a metal boxspring with a wooden border and cloth. i told him I would take it back with me but he refused to let me in claiming I would go over time with the amount of stuff I had I replied that I had 4 guys with me to help and pleaded with him that I needed to return the truck that day or I would have to pay another day but he and his coworker didn't care and closed the window on me saying they have the right what ever that means. I quickly went to another scrapyard and had no issue i unloaded before this place even CLOSE'S! they didn't either allow the boxspring so I just put it back in to the truck no issue in short they decide who to let in and when not very professional at all

Poor service , I called and they gave me an offer . I counter offered and she said she would ask her boss and call me back . She never called back . I called again and accepted there offer . She told me to call the next day so we can set up a pick up time . I called the next day and she said she would call me back again . She never called and didn’t pick up the phone . Would not recommend them to anyone .

Worker is lazy and don’t want to make that place money he sit on his phones like a teenager mind you I’m 23yo. I heard very good things about this places owner, being a part in this scrap game . Unfortunately he wasn’t there which is probably why buddy refused to pickup a car that a child operating could have grabbed. when you got cars to scrap you know where to find me - the only kid in the game🤝
