I bought a vehicle from him and made a $500 deposit. I then paid in full and he did not refund the $500, he tried to keep it. Luckily I won a credit card dispute and got my money back. Also when the vehicle was loaded they did not tell the driver the hood was no latched. The driver took off and the hood blew open breaking the windshield and denting the roof. He also lied several times during our interactions. Not a trustworthy person, I do not recommend doing business with him.

I called ahead, and my part was ready. On the phone, I was quoted a price for a headlight assembly with a cracked mount. When I got there, they had a perfect one pulled but still honored the price for one the other one. I'd say that's excellent customer service 😀

If you need a part or a part they have already pulled and ready, this is your stop. Great luck with car parts and such. Got my reverse lens for my car at a fantastic price. Also I was treated so kindly. The place I called before this company was so rude. Hillsdale made it all so easy. They now have a customer for life :)

They installed a motor for me and they just left my vehicle full of oil on the inside, parts was missing found bolts and screws on the inside of my e250 econoline front end wasn't put together properly. If you paid me to do a job I would do it like I'm supposed to and give your vehicle back the way it was given to me. The guy argued with me saying things weren't on my truck when I brought it in like I'm oblivious to how to work on vehicles or I don't know my truck but never again. Thanks for costing more money to fix what you guys screwed up and taking parts off my van like I don't know they were there. HE'S A GOOD GUY BUT HE DROP THE BALL ON THIS ONE

i bought my car through Howards! They were amazingly great people. Very tolerating of me and my horrible mood that day! Extremely helpful and sweet sweet people! Highly recommend anybody to go work and meet with this amazing team that works here!

I called on phone and spoke with Rick. He checked to make sure he had what I needed. Drove 20 miles, walked around the store and wound up spending $60.00 instead of $6 because of their friendly attitude and well stocked parts supply store. WELL DONE.!!

It would be nice if these guys could do a person a favor every once in awhile. I was looking at buying a part and I needed to be sure that it would fit before I drove over 120 miles round trip. So this place will pull a truck door, but they can't pull the harness because they supposedly don't mess with wiring, but yet they have to unplug the wiring in order to remove the door........ All I needed to see was one picture of that plug and I would know for sure if it would work or not. Just one measly picture. There has to be a better way to sell parts without having to have people drive all the way out there for potentially not being able to get a single part. Especially people that don't have a lot of money that can't spend all that money on fuel just to waste their time. I mean it's really simple, and I was definitely a buyer if I could have just known for sure, would have taken all of 5 minutes. But I guess that's what you get with these businesses that are too busy for real customer service. I sell a lot of parts myself and we constantly do favors for people and check over the parts to verify fitment before they drive all the way to us. But I guess there's only "some" helpful people out there anymore........

Great place to turn your garbage into cash. Attendant was kind and quick quick. I appreciated their friendly demeanors and all the Prices were good. The copper, and scrap metal was fair as well. Will be recommending.
