Didn't tell me until everything was done that they couldn't pay me in cash, only by check that had to be mailed, even though I called them and asked if I either be able to get paid. I needed gas money, only reason I brought in my copper. Drove 7 miles from my work, wasting that gas. Attitude was pretty much go somewhere else and not my problem. Won't be coming here again. They were nice as they had to be. They did have a sign about that, but only saw it after I was done being weighed and checked out. They should have that sign posted by the scale.

I went to Pete’s with my dad in the fifties. Still going now. I needed a hood for a 2003 Focus. They found me a good replacement at a great price. Pete’s Auto has always been Five Stars. To old Jenison dudes like me Pete’s is definitely a Jenison/Hudsonville landmark. Five Star Landmark.

George at the front counter was pure awesome. Answered all my questions in a straight forward kind manner, sold me some drinks after being in the god awful sun for 6 hours, and even helped me carry my valve covers I pulled to my car. Honestly this experience just got this establishment a new long term customer. I'm gonna see about buying a transmission for my project car here soon. Speaking of which, I do wish a price list for parts was listed on the website! I can't seem to find one

Funny story. I called today for a spare tire for trunk and a once over look at my car I was polite and clear with what I wanted The Woman who I asummmed smoke 10 packs of non filter cigarettes this morning asked what kind of car. I don’t k ow why that matters but politely I told her. And was met with a rude no and then clock in my ear. Now this isnt what I do. Snitch. But I fear it’s a nationwide issues. Lord save us all. Great place! Great location! Better than the backyard!! You got scrap metal laying around, bring it right here. These guys will take good care of you. They don't have anyone standing around making sure that the wall is there. The staff is cordial and ready for whatever you show up with. They have everything you need to assist you with unloading heavy items. Close to home! Can't beat that. Overall impression is that I was actually impressed. Well maintained yard.
