Needed a part for my 2011 Outlander Sport. I don't live anywhere near there but happened to be traveling within a reasonable distance to them so I decided to call and see if they could get the part pulled for me that day. They were very accommodating and started pulling the part while I was driving there. I wish I lived closer because I would like to get more parts from that vehicle but I was certainly glad to get what I needed at the time. I found them to be very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend doing business with them!

Great place to take your scrap. Anything from aluminum cans and siding to whole vehicles. They except everything and always great PRICES $$$$ From the top to the bottom it’s clean don’t have to worry about catching a flat because of scrap laying around some where. It’s all concrete or asphalt. From the manager Mike all the way down to scale master who was Sharron and Mark as well as equipment operator Scott all the people are helpful, knowledgeable of their jobs. The scales are true and not rigged which I’ve seen to many times at other places. All in all I’d suggest this place to anyone trying to scrap some metal.

Fantastic customer service! My man found one for me in a jiffy and I got a quote all within like 2/3 minutes. Very engaging, detailed and prompt reply to my request! I’ve always exclaimed in conversations with others how fabulous the whole crew at American || auto parts and salvage and recycling. I’ve been able find everything that I’ve ever searched for at American! For kindness, reliability and reasonable prices my bet is on American. Peace!

Horrible place to go to. I called to get my truck towed and the guy that answered tried to give me a lower price on what I was quoted. Then when I told them I was quoted something else, whoever answered my quote the second time started cursing at me saying my mother is dead and to have oral se* with her skull. This place is very unprofessional and dirty. I blocked the number to call a different spot and whoever it was that sent me those awful messages started calling me and texting me from other numbers after I blocked the first number.

Quality used parts, great price, friendly service, would definitely recommend to all .Thanks Again.

Posted 8/27/24 I called on 8/26/24 and spoke to Anthony, inregards to me needing a Rim for my 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Touring that didn't come with a spare. Anthony gave me the cost with tax included. I informed Anthony that I will be there first thing in the morning at 8am. Anthony informed me he will be in later that morning on 8/27/24, but someone will be able to complete my order, when I came to the office. I meet with George and informed him, I spoke to Anthony concerning the Rim I needed. George said he can take care of it for me, so he took the information from me. And went and got the information off my tire, along with a photo to make sure I received the same exact Rim as what's on my vehicle. Awesome Customer Service and great team work to Anthony and George. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends, if they are in need of excellent used car parts. Job Well Done! I called George's Salvage on a Monday afternoon, looking to have a car towed off my property before an impending storm. I spoke with someone who told me they'd be able to remove it the next day, Tuesday. The storm was going to hit on Wednesday. He quoted me a fair price for the car. The next day I called a few minutes before they opened to leave a message confirming the pick up, and I got the gentleman on the phone, and not only were they coming for my car that day, but the tow truck would be at my home first thing in the morning! After work I came home to find my driveway empty, and not a check but cash waiting for me in an envelope. Courteous, prompt and professional - I have a new metal company I intend to deal with, and so should everyone who reads this review. 5 star service!

Recycling The Past has a huge selection of very interesting and hard to find items. From that light blue ceramic soap dish to the six foot airplane propeller. I always find something and the prices are fair. I've recommended them to family and friends on many occasions.

Great experience @ Westside Auto. I needed a part that broke off my car and they had it but it was at the bottom of a pile and positioned to close to another car that I couldn't access it. Mike was nice enough to come out of his office and move the car for me so that I could get into it and take the piece that I needed. Highly recommended! Very professional and personable!

If you're getting rid of metal just pull in get on the scale pull off dump it get back on the scale take your ticket cash it in very easy everyone's helpful never a problem

Hand down most reliable place in NJ, if they don't have it they'll find it for you. The workers Moe and Abe are hands on and go above and beyond to make sure you leave there a happy customer.

I called them in the morning on 3/1/2024 at 8:47am by 9:27am the tow truck was at my house he waited patiently will i gather my belongings from the 02 Cadillac that was getting junk and then he check to make sure all original equipment was present on car top and bottom then count the cash in front of me and give it to me and then he yoke the car great business respect people thank you will use again for me or family when a car got to go.

When they couldn't find me a replacement part for my exhaust system they sent me to someone near by who not only made only what i really needed but charged me very little for making it. This shop is a blueprint for quality service. Wish other stores would take notice and be this good. Thanks J&C

Maui was the tow operator who picked up my BMW 750Li. He was not only thorough but he was Extremely knowledgeable. The car was parked in a difficult spot and he was ingenius and creative about getting this luxury vehicle onto that flatbed. All the while maintaining the highest level of safety.
