I have been an automotive repair professional since 1983 purchasing used auto parts hundreds of times and the experience I had at Al's today was the best I have ever had!There are yards (very close by in fact...) where you dread to go in because of the attitude and indifference of the operators and the misrepresentation of part quality. That does not happen here. These folks not only know there inventory VERY well, but genuinely care about you getting the right part.I called for what I was looking for and was asked questions that made sure I got the right part that fit properly and solved my problem. Not only that, the price was excellent. In the future I hope to buy from them and they will defiantly be my first call. Besides, they're actually friendly.

Needed a driver side mirror for my Ranger, they pulled it and notified me the next day that it was ready to be picked up. Nice guys, fair pricing, didn’t seem to have a big collection (literally 1 Ford Ranger) but the part I needed was close to the entrance so I didn’t venture out too far. If I need a part again this will be the first shop I call.I’ve seen bad reviews here which was off putting at first but as I said above my experience was different, so my advice would be to go and check it out for yourself.

Had to get rid of an old car and he answered the phone right away and was very patient with me. He was very polite and punctual, efficient and friendly.

I highly recommend Al's Auto Salvage. The two brothers who run it are so polite and helpful. Today I needed a side mirror for my daughter's old Mazda. It was kind of an emergency as she is driving cross country tomorrow and she accidentally tore it off last night. We were panicked! They not only had one in stock, but Ray pulled it then installed it while I waited, all for a reasonable and fair price. These guys are my heros. And the location was very convenient, very close to home for me. They even stayed open beyond business hours to accommodate me. Thanks guys you are the best!

Sold a car that had a bad transmission to them. They offered a fair price, were very polite and picked the car up. Would highly recommend.

They sold me a bad rack and pinion, they didn’t want to return my money I was sick and in the hospital and I couldn’t get a mechanic to fix the car for about a week, they still didn’t care and sold me a damaged piece $70 down the drain

Purchased an AC compressor for $80. Was told I had 3 days to return it. Get home and start working on the car, I look at the AC compressor and the clutch was replaced. I purchased a new one from the auto store because I wasn't going to chance changing the AC compressor and paying $110 to refill the system for a ' maybe it'll work ' part. Go to return the compressor and was told I could only swap it for another one even though it was never put on nor was it more than 24 hours from the purchase. Guy told me no returns to read the sign, yet the guy I purchased it from stated I could return it. Shady business practices. 1st and last time I buy from a junk yard.

They were average on price. Had the part I needed that I paid for in advance for them to pull. Next day the part was bad. Nothing really good or bad to say.

Bad customer service & they have shipped to wrong address, part went back to them , give my money back ray Stay away from these thief's. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
