I called on a Monday to see if they had a part I really need it's been almost a week ago now I called 3 times through out the week and got the same answer we've been busy we'll go look and call you back. Took my name to my number all 3 times and NEVER got a call back from them. Apparently, they don't need business that bad. And there not going to get mine now.

How they have a four star review is mind blowing. striking 1. When you’re at the counter talking person to person, they pick up the phone and start chatting to somebody completely, ignoring the customer in front of them. strike two when you call them one they will put you on hold immediately or they will put you on hold after seeing what you need and leaving you on the line for hours on end, or telling you, they will give you a call back which they never do or three they will hang up on you. Strike three if you have cylinders, they are honing or boring out, which is a two hour process a cylinder. They will take a entire two months, if not more even if you call to check up on progress, they will tell you they’ll have it done the next day and then the next day the day after that so on so forth, how do you keep a business like that?

I can't even give this place a single star, I've tried to call this Alaskan salvage place for over a month only to be placed on hold. When I could finally get someone on the phone, they would tell me that they would call me back. Mind you all I was trying to do was locate some salvaged snowmobile parts. Now I've been providing business for the last few years. I've bought many parts from them and they have rebuilt a crank for me. Just within the last year I've noticed their customer service has gotten terrible. I won't be providing any further business in the near future.

I’ve ordered over the phone and sent the wrong part. I’ve found the right part the same day and returned the item and it’s been over 2 weeks calling almost every day asking if they have processed my refund. They a scam.

I gave such a low score based on payment for services. Todd was very helpful and got the job done in just under a day which was totally awesome. The bill was in my eyes for what I asked to be done, crazy. When I went to pay, I was asked cash or credit. Said credit as I didn’t have that kind of cash on me for such a large bill. She gave me the price and I paid it. That night I looked at the bill again and saw two different price. For parts and labor, that was adding up to one total, but what I paid on credit was higher then the actual bill by over $48. Went back the next day to ask and she said that was a fee for using my credit card. No where on the bill did it say that or up on the business wall telling you that if you use your credit card, expect to pay a fee. She never said anything either. She said that if I want to pay cash then we could credit back to the credit card some how. I was like great, I will be right back with the cash and I’m good with it. On the way to the bank, she calls me and says they can’t do that and really gives no reason why when I asked the question. We are in the 21st century, what do you mean you can’t reverse the charge and I can pay with cash. Shady business practice in my book. I won’t be back anytime soon that is for sure.

We ordered a snowmachine part in the beginning of January. The owner said they would order it and ship it to us. We’ve called multiple times inquiring about the part and are getting no response from the company. We even went as far as driving all the way to Anchorage during their business hours and try to talk to them in person. They were closed. I do not recommend them to anyone.

I'd leave zero stars if it was an option. Trying to get a track for my machine but evidently they don't want the business. Day 1: called and was put on hold for 30 minutes. Hung up and called back but got a busy signal for the next 6 hours. Day 2: called and got a message stating to call back during normal business hours 9-5 Mon-Fri. I was calling around noon on a Wednesday. This went on all day. Day 3: called and was immediately put on hold. Waited 15 minutes on hold, hung up and called back 12 times with another busy signal each time. Have yet to be on the phone long enough to say hello, much less to find out if they have a track for my machine.

called Thursday asking if they had a side panel for my vector, the gal that answered said she'd have to get my name and number and she'll call back but didn't. this was early noon. so the day goes by and nothin. Friday I called again and it was the same gal, mentioning I called the previous day and she just seemed like a total a.s.s about it. no pun intended. to make it worse, she said she "never got around to looking for it" she wants to get my name and number again, AND THE PART IM LOOKING FOR again.. struck out twice cuz she never called back. I used to order parts from them all the time. I ain't striking out on this one. will wait for them to get their shet together.

Todd, Brooke and the crew at Alaska snowmobile salvage are awesome. If the dealership is giving you the run around head their way. Reasonable rates, stellar service, quality work. The kind of mechanic everyone wants to find. POS farm sled or 850etec mountain machine they can do whatever.

The customer service is outstanding. I have several OLD sleds and buying parts from the dealers is expensive. The guys at ASS are super helpful and had good suggestions on installing, etc. The prices are a fraction of new for totally serviceable parts. I tell all my friends to check with ASS first.

Horrible customer service over the phone on hold for over 45 minutes they hung up the first time at 30 minutes been calling for almost 3 weeks now for a part they say they have but never get offered a brand new price for a USED part it is better to find a part off ebay if you're trying to order over the phone I had ordered 550 pistons one time and they sent one 550 piston and one 800 piston WHAT A JOKE they don't understand it's a main transportation in rual ak and probably will never

I recently purchased an item from this company and they were great, then I had some reasons to return the item not 3 days later and when I went to go return it I was faced with an argument, passive aggressive comments at the counter and walking away and a RESTOCKING FEE. Something they did not make me aware of when I purchased the item, nor advertised that they even have one. After I made it clear that I needed the item returned the owner went on to them make me feel horrible for returning it. If your company has to have a restocking fee to get some extra money and argue with customers while also offending them when they need to return something, you shouldn't be in business. I ended by saying have a good day and was blatantly ignored by all associates. Extremely unprofessional. I and anyone I know, will not be purchasing from them again.

They have wide array of parts if your sled is old. What they do have if its made within last 10 years they want almost price of new part for. Maybe this is why they have junk everywhere. They should be more reasonable pricing wise

Strung me along for 3 weeks. Another shop fixed the issue in 3 days. Could have been honest about turn around time but weren’t. Buy parts here but not mechanic service. My opinion, just sayin’.

Worst experience ever in my opinion the owner is a scam artist tried charging me 1100 dollars for a simple jetting on my carb first it was 600 for my final bill picked up my 450r and took it for a ride and realized it hasn't been touched all they did was swap my plug so I bring it back and they tell me sense they did the work they'll fix it then call me 4 days later saying it'll be another 500 dollars to tune it what a joke they are extremely rude as well to top it all off
