The transmission went out on our family wagon. The dealerships I called said there were all 2 months out or greater. Bobs was able to get my rig in and driving again within a week at what I would've paid at a dealer with an equivalent warranty too. Great experience working with them and would recommend them to anyone needing transmission repairs.Service: Transmission

They didn’t have parts for my car. So I can’t rate them a good review.

Details09/09/2020Quick review- avoid this shop at all cost!!! Bob is a crook and a thief and can/should not be trusted. Take my word for it and save yourself a lot of time, money and frustration. Worst attitude and service I’ve ever encountered in my life.Detailed review- I took my car in for what should have been an easy repair. Transmission would not shift out if first gear. Bob convinced me that I need a complete rebuild witch ended up costing more than a new transmission. About $3000. Once my car was finished I experienced nothing but trouble with the rebuild. I took it back to have him fix it several times. The car still didn’t shift right, it had converter problems and leaked out of every place possible, had dirty fluid installed and a bad governor. Each time, a total of three, bob wrongfully accused me of taking the transmission out of car, opening it up and messing it up myself. Supposedly I did all that myself. Couldn’t believe my ears each time. Bob was the only person to ever work on or look at the transmission and this was all 100% his work. On last visit he informed me of multiple things that were installed wrong, cracked and or stripped. It boggles my mode how he could mess up so many things on one build and then blame it on me. I pulled my car from his shop and I am having to buy a completely new transmission. Being a car guy/builder and enjoying the hobby for over 20 years I have never came across someone as dishonest and rude as bob. Save your the time, money and trouble and look somewhere else.Service: Transmission

Few months ago I got my transmission serviced. Never had a problem with it in the 14 years I had it. Just wanted to get a service since it's been so long. He said everything checked out good. So last week I noticed fluid dripping underneath it. Took it into my mechanic to see what kind of fluid (since I couldn't tell) and to get it stopped. Found out whoever serviced my truck that day at this shop didnt scrape all the silicone from the transmission pan gasket before putting on the new which of course caused the fluid to seep out. So in the end I had to pay for the service twice which I didn't even needed done in the first place. Will not recommend or go back.

Bob serviced my trans and was a very pleasant exp. I only gave for stars because masks were not used when direct interaction with customers. This was at a time when our county is in the highest stage of covid. Purple on states covid list.

My transmission died on an important business trip (it had been dying for some time but finally gave out) and I was able to limp it to the nearest town of Red Bluff. Bob squeezed me in and I was able to rent a car, finish my trip and pick up my fixed vehicle on the return trip. He went out of his way to take care of me. I cannot speak highly enough of the great service I received and would highly recommend Bob's Red Bluff Transmissions to anyone.

After I told the guy what was going on with my car over the phone he determined any of the work come to find out I needed was a sensor so instead of $2,000 I paid $26

Just had my oil changed and was notified I was missing a nut on the transmission mount. Saw this place and decided it was worth a shot. I had no appointment but the guys were so helpful and friendly they put a nut on the mount and had me out of there in 10 minutes. That is what I call service as they could have just asked me to make an appointment.
