Excellent resource for the people of Santa Cruz. They accept all recyclables and garbage. The fees are reasonable too. One car full of garbage cost $21. Card board, batteries and yard waste are free.

The workers here are always very friendly and helpful, they make an extra effort to separate anything recyclable, and they're extremely professional. Frequently folks are coming over to help people unload, and they're always smiling.Also there's almost always a nice breeze, and there are some crazy views if you bring yard waste or lumber scraps all the way up to the top :-)Best landfill/transfer station I've ever been to. Very well run and it's nice to see a crew like this who take their job seriously, and who clearly enjoy and take pride in their work. Nice art installation on the way in/out too, although I'd love to see more of that! Kudos!

It's a great place to go and recycle your recyclables into dump your garbage everything is nice and clean and they have a place for us your recyclables and and every one of the workers are really helpful

Jay, Tacho, Mele and all the staff up there are awesome. They are helpful and always smiling. It's well organized and it's fun to throw stuff out of my truck.

I showed up to dump some wood (cost $13.80) and cardboard (free). Kip and the rest of the staff were very informative about where to go and what other things they accept: oil, coolant, lightbulbs, cardboard, (not paper as of 8/30/18), wood, car batteries, and metal scraps.

Always helpful staff. Work hard to keep recycles out of landfill. Picked up a yard of clean wood chips for $5 & had a beautiful view of the bay while I loaded them.

Your answering system does not answer my question. I was unable to ever reach a live person and there is no other telephone number available for me to get the answer to my question. Your phone system rewinds out the same information over and over. A waste of my time and now I am on the search of another city number to get my answer.
