Needed a passenger seat for my daughter in-laws Mazda. The air bag sensors in the seat quit working and the dealer wanted 2500$ to fix the problem. Called Daves auto parts in Carp and talked to Ryan. After working as a mechanic for 45 years I was treated as I was cheating .Bought an engine paid up front and was shipped to BC. While on the floor trying to bolt to the transaxle it was hard to turn .Remove the valve cover left cam lobes rusted in the centre and two middle spark plugs were rusted with signs of water. Now when tried to turn both cam gears turn but left cam did not turn. When talked to Trevor he insisted I send the engine then they will decide about the refund. I just told Trevor that the amount I paid will not break my bank . I will not recommend my friends and the Auto shop I associate with to use this auto wrecker. I had been using Auto wreckers in BC since 1975. Manager had no guts to call me .

Very very bad experience with Dave’s Auto Detailing. If I can give 0 star I will. Dave's Auto Detailing garage changed my car brakes end od April. We bought brakes from Toronto and Dave only changed so he did labor only. My car start making brake sound so I went back to Dave’s Auto Detailing to check brakes again since he changed them and he said well sensor was clutch and you need to change again back brake and sensors as well and my husband agreed he will fix my car because he didn’t have a choice. I can not prove this but it's obvious first time when they changed brakes they didn’t released brake sensor so back brake was always rubbing. At the end we end up paying $440 for repair that they caused damage to my car, this is rip off. First it could cause fire and second it not safe to drive car like that. Point is they made damage to my car so I need to replace again back brakes and sensors of course. I will never recommend this place to anyone and I will never take my car to this shop.

This is the store that I recommend to ALL of my clients when they are in need of replacement vehicle parts. I've been dealing with them since the early 2000's, and I'll continue on. What's important is that the parts that they sell always work, and if they don't, they get replaced again. If this shop doesn't have the parts you need in their own yard, then they use their network to search other yards with GOOD REPUTATIONS all across Canada. I have no doubt that I have sent hundred of clients their way and I will continue to do so for years. When the radio dies in your 2013 Sonata or 2010 F-250, you can pay $700 to the stealership, or pay $80-$150 to Dave's for the same thing. You don't have to crawl around their yard lugging a tool box to get parts that may be faulty or inop. They pull it for you and warranty them. Call Trevor or Ryan.

Great service. Called asking for a right taillight. They confirmed that they had it but asked me to wait. They double checked that everything was working before calling me back to confirm that the part was in good shape.Whole thing was easy, person I spoke to was pleasant over the phone and in person.

After being promised that a used alternator was bench tested and was in good working condition, we brought it home and installed it which required us to remove a number of other parts and a half a day's work. It didn't work. Neither did the second one.. we decided to go elsewhere for the third. Then we were harassed about returning the core and when we chose one of the two to return, it was the "wrong one". We then got harassed each day for a week until returning both alternators and explained their warranty was useless if they couldn't offer working parts.
