    I felt that it was necessary for us to leave a review , because of the way this business is presented in most of the negative reviews. This was not the first time we purchased from them and every single time the experience was positive. Their grading is always correct , prices are very competitive and customer service is top notch. We are over 600 miles away and will not hesitate to order parts again Just received a $200 head light today and the item was packaged better than new one. Thanks to Lynn and the teamand keep up the good work!

    They had the best price for the part I needed. Be prepared to pay cash only, $100 minimum on sale. Guys are knowledgeable and very organized. The yard was one of the nicer I’ve been to. Will definitely use these guys again.

    I called to get several parts from here, I spoke with a sales rep the night before,I will say he was pretty helpful, he told me everything was there he put his hands on them they all look good. I told him I'd drive out the next day because I was coming from a couple of hours away I just wanted to make sure that everything was good, I left and headed out called them on my way told them I was coming and he said everything is set and ready to go I'll see you in a couple of hours, I get all the way there check in, they tell me to wait in my car and they'll bring the parts out. Almost 2 hours later I go in to see what's going on because I have to get going and they tell me that they either sold or damaged all of the parts that I came for except for one, Being pretty upset about the situation that I had just wasted over 4 hours of driving and gas I grabbed the one remaining part that I was supposed to get tossed it in my trunk and left, only to get back and find out that the part I got is junk, it was a spare tire that was flat and doesn't hold air. How everything else went I didn't even bother calling because of the way I was treated when I was there I'm sure it wouldn't matter.

    Even after reading after all the bad reviews I still tried to give this business the benefit of the doubt. I called 3 times yesterday to confirm they had a engine and if I could pay over the phone which you can't so I woke up this morning and drove 45 minute In order to pay for the engine and they could start the removal. Not once during the 3 calls yesterday but today when I'm a few minutes away on the phone confirming the amount so that I have enough cash am I then told "This engine won't be ready for about 3 weeks it has damage to it I just noticed". Completely ridiculous & I'm convinced any good reviews we're paid for at this point !

    Had multiple bad experiences with this place. Two examples:1. Bought a MINI Cooper engine, listed on CarPart.com. Bought it, spent 20 hours of a qualified technician installing it just to discover it has no compression in one cylinder. That stinks - but it happens. What made the experience really bad was what happened next - to return out money, they had us send proof that we buy oil in bulk, that we had bought a new filter, pictures of compression testing, and of the engine disassembled. Not only that - they refused to pick it up, so I had to send an employee over to THEM to drop off the engine. At our cost. They a month later, they finally refunded our money, after countless calls and escalations. If you need an engine - please call John at Bavarian auto parts in NJ.2. We placed an order for a part they had listed as available, stopped searching, just to be told an hour later that 'they couldn't find it'. The internet is a big place - buy elsewhere.

    This business does not accept American Express (and they didn't tell me up front when I ordered the part). Also, they do not accept personal credit cards, even with the card holder and ID present. They are cash or check only. Shady business/accounting practices. I have no way of buying parts from this business. Don't waste your time like they did mine.

    I own a buisness and spent over $80k in 2 years. Almost always had a questionable experience with their attitude toward a paying customer and customer service, but they had what I needed.. The last experience I bought 2 engines for 5k a piece. Both had multiple issues and cost my buisness about 15 hours of diagnostics and repair. Issues from wastegates being seized on turbos, and engines being out of time. They did not want to refund and money and they told my customer that we do not know what we are doing and damaged their engine during installation. Very inprofessional. I will never do buisness with them again. Pictures of bent cam phaser and rotted out wastegate attached.

    Never had a problem ever with guys at GeneralAuto. I,ve been doing business over 10+ yrs from transmissions, Motors, and even smalls they usually always have it all. Always received quality parts at prices no one else could beat usually in a few hours. Jay and the team always go above and beyond. 99.9% of the time General Auto is my 1st call and if they don't have it they will point you in the direction if its available. 5 STAR ALL DAY 👏👍💪🧑‍💻☕🤷‍♂️

    Honestly don't think the staff could be any more un friendly. Decent prices and an okay selection of parts if you can tolerate the attitudes.

    Hi.I am a long time costumer ,bought a lot of parts there .some of them with issues ,but i never complained .Also in good relations with sales rep.But recently i had a bad experience. I was asked to pay upfront " FULL AMOUNT " for parts with wire transfer, before i can pick it up, in 3-4 days after cleared payment . There was another option ,i had to come first thing in the morning ,pay cash and wait till they get that part pulled off the car .i would never pay cash for parts upfront, before i can see it and for me its a 170 mile trip one way, plus tolls ... .chances that those parts are in perfect condition are very slim.So to me its a poor deal.Also freight prices are twice of what other yards charge. If you have time to waste ,then this place is for you.Management made it difficult to do business with .Dont know if want to come back.
