Great place to sell your metal recyclables and they sell things!Prices are typically as good as other yards (of course metal prices are still low compared to 5 years ago) They take your usual steel, aluminum, brass, copper and lead. They also accept circuit boards. Last I checked they were still buying wood pallets in usable condition. The yard is next to an operating quarry so be mindful of big trucks. The layout of the yard is fairly straightforward if you're a regular scrapper. Pull up onto the scale, even if you have a small load, and follow the instructions from the ladies in the office. Non-ferrous (not steel) material will get dropped off in the first covered area to the left after you pull off the scale and the guys out there will help you. If you have a large trailer do not try and make the sharp turn right off the scale, go down toward the quarry and turn around there where there is room before coming back to unload/get paid.

Seems like a better place for people needing to bring a trailer of recycling into. Not so much for little guys bringing in their hobby scrap wire.

First time I went there was a few years ago, got good price, went recently, 8/31/21, and got robbed. Will not return ever. I would call ahead before wasting your time going there, unload, just to find out after like I did

Came at 5:20 and some cranky old lady came and yelled they only take stuff til 5:15 and then turn off the scale so the 5:30 closing time is arbitrary .

The price for metal is one of the highest you will find. The people running the heavy equipment are patient and careful when unloading, the woman at the cashiers office, they all are wonderful. This is not your typical metal recycling center, it looks like them, it's just the people operating this facility are of a totally different caliber. They actually enjoy what they're doing apparently and appear to be quality human beings. Worth the drive, well worth the drive.

Great place, nice people. They took my dad's old fridge, range, and washer. For a great price.
