I cannot recommend this place enough. I dropped my car off and in less than 24 hours they contacted me that it was ready to be picked up. Granted, don't dock them if they aren't that quick with you because I was lucky that they had in what I needed but the drop off and pick up process was painless. Plus, the system they use to let you know what is wrong with your vehicle and how much the repairs will be is quite impressive.Service: Transmission repair

When I called back the third time you said you'd done it, but would give me a discount because I told you not to do it twice. No discount was received on anything.You openly stated that you charged double on parts and you told me that it was an hour of labor (not including diagnostic).Your business did not treat me kindly, fairly, or honestly.ORIGINAL POST:JH is one of the only shops in town, so I gave them 2 stars for existing. Also, they do fix stuff and some of their staff can be mildly nice sometimes.HOWEVER, they have some extremely shady business practices. For example, I had a wheel bearing issue and asked them to replace...I told them explicitly not to do any other work on 2 separate occasions. Even so, they replaced my serpentine belt and charged me $300. It's a $20 part and 15 minutes of labor and I told them not to do it specifically! Still, I had to pay.Furthermore, they have a standard practice of doubling the cost of all parts they use. This is an open practice that they explained to me when I paid the bill.They also tried to get me to buy a bunch of repairs that I know I don't need and aren't related to the problem I had. I didn't know any better, they would have swindled me for a lot more cash.Wild. Less than 1 hour of work and maybe $200 worth of parts and they charged me almost $1,000. Not honest folks. Would not recommend.

Horribleeeee service! Discrimination!! The worst installation ever!!! All the cables were everywhere and all over my car!! They think that because they have to install a interlock device, they have the right to treat you like sh…!!!!!! Don’t go to that place because you will regret it for ever!! Nobody deserves that kind of customer service!!!!!!! I wish you place close down and you dedicate to something you enjoy!!! You’re unhappy and horrible people!

1st . thank you guys very much. 2nd this is a business worthy of there reviews. We where going to the western slope our SUV broke down in the afternoon in Breckenridge the crew a JH stayed open until we arrived well after closing time. We had to continue our trip and asked them if they could have it ready by Monday morning so that we could pick it up on our way home. Instead of making us wait they came in on Sunday there day off and knocked it out. What a wonderful bunch of people. Thank you again guys you have a customer for life any time I am in the hills with a broke down car.

They are just very quick to impound and scrap your vehicle if you can't pick it up as quickly as they would like. However the manager Corey will usually work with you!

I needed to stop here on a road trip because my car was giving me problems. Shafi was amazingly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to not only get me back on the road, but also to reassure me that my car would make it to my destination, what I needed to do when I got there, and even how to handle driving in the mountains better. Up for the weekend to go to Breckenridge and the brakes went bad. No one else in town were taking new customers. Called Friday around 4 and got an appointment for Saturday at 1 pm and gave me a quote. They took in the truck, had the parts ordered and ready and was done in about 1 1/2 hours. Shafi was awesome and got us taken care of so we could enjoy the rest of our birthday weekend. Not how we wanted to spend it, but they were very quick and professional. With our camper loaded to the gills we noticed the dreaded “check engine” light while we were climbing up the pass. We pulled into JH Mountian Auto & within a short amount of time the issue was diagnosed! Even thought the repair took a while they kept us abreast of the progress of the technician!HELPFUL~FRIENDLY & FAIR PRICEPS: beautiful shop dog too!!

Thieves. overpriced, over zealous tight knit group of con artists. They have ZERO idea what they’re doing and don’t know how to run a business let alone deserve to run one. If you enjoy getting bent over and manipulated by the guys that got bullied in high school this is the place for you!
