I cannot recommend this place enough. I dropped my car off and in less than 24 hours they contacted me that it was ready to be picked up. Granted, don't dock them if they aren't that quick with you because I was lucky that they had in what I needed but the drop off and pick up process was painless. Plus, the system they use to let you know what is wrong with your vehicle and how much the repairs will be is quite impressive.Service: Transmission repair

EDIT: In response to JH's comment... I feel no need to apologize for being polite to you. What an odd comment.I told y'all TWO times to NOT replace the serpentine belt. When I called back the third time you said you'd done it, but would give me a discount because I told you not to do it twice. No discount was received on anything.You openly stated that you charged double on parts and you told me that it was an hour of labor (not including diagnostic).Your business did not treat me kindly, fairly, or honestly.ORIGINAL POST:JH is one of the only shops in town, so I gave them 2 stars for existing. Also, they do fix stuff and some of their staff can be mildly nice sometimes.HOWEVER, they have some extremely shady business practices. For example, I had a wheel bearing issue and asked them to replace...I told them explicitly not to do any other work on 2 separate occasions. Even so, they replaced my serpentine belt and charged me $300. It's a $20 part and 15 minutes of labor and I told them not to do it specifically! Still, I had to pay.Furthermore, they have a standard practice of doubling the cost of all parts they use. This is an open practice that they explained to me when I paid the bill.They also tried to get me to buy a bunch of repairs that I know I don't need and aren't related to the problem I had. I didn't know any better, they would have swindled me for a lot more cash.Wild. Less than 1 hour of work and maybe $200 worth of parts and they charged me almost $1,000. Not honest folks. Would not recommend.
