After searching the lot and piecing together my new project, I was blown away by how awesome Chris was to work with. He is very easy to talk to and gets what you need at a great price. He even offered to pull the stuff for me! Service fee of course, but his time and effort are well worth it. I was shocked by how easy this process was. I will definitely be back when another car comes in :)

Found what I was looking for. A chrome bumper for my 1996 F-150 XLT. Entrance was a bit confusing and the front desk employees were not very greeting. Did end up leaving a tool on the vehicle I was pulling parts from and they returned it.

*** CHANGE TO REVIEW*** After my initial review and experience from below, the owner reached out to me and apologized for my issues I had on the phone. They invited me down to the yard and were absolutely awesome! They handed me a wrench and let me go out and find the part I needed. A much better experience once I got in and talked to someone. Called to ask about a part, got a short clipped response and then hung up on me. For a salvage yard, I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t want to help someone with hard to find engine parts. DO NOT RECOMMEND CALLING TO TRY AND FIND ANYTHING YOU MIGHT NEED.

Johnson's Mustang is a great yard to find engine parts. They have a vast inventory and are always willing to help locate a part elsewhere if they don't have it. Great customer service, good parts and competitively priced.

My customer bought an engine from Joey that promised my customer he would be thankful he got that engine , well Joey was dead wrong for starters nothing but the bottom end was able to be used the motor sucked 2 exhaust valves but there guarantee is a tail light guarantee when your tail lights are gone so is your warranty. Damn shame Butch had to leaveso soon RIP brother! As for Joey private if his lips are moving he's lying

I had family visiting from out of state and blew the transmission in there Navigator at 4 am on 64. I called numerous places and then was referred to Johnson's Mustang. I spoke to Joe. They sold me the transmission and then arranged to have it installed for a awesome price. But the best part is the workmanship that was done. They went above and beyond. Its hard to impress me. I will recommend these folks everyday. My family members were very impressed with the service and price they got. Thank you Joe. You are good people! PS. The owner of this SUV is a 21 year old girl with 3 children from West Virginia. She lost her husband to gun violence. You can imagine how she felt broke down with kids at 4 am and not knowing what to do. When you find people like Johnson's Mustang it lifts a huge load of worry off of you. This company is a shining beacon of pride for Hampton Roads.

Parts counter guy is super rude. Wanted 20 bucks for a part that's 15 new. Told him no thanks and he literally threw the part onto the floor. Don't waste your time. I will never go there again or recommend them to anyone for anything

Call this place and asked guy about a wire harness for my 81 caprice. He very rudely said , o your never gonna find that and hung up. Call back to speak to manager and no one will answer phone. If this is how they talk to their customers I won't buy anything from them or recommend them to anyone.

People aren't very friendly, they will often over charge you. Save your money and try pick and pull first. If all else fails then go here. And this review isn't from one visit. I've had many mustangs over the last 13 years of my driving life. I've been here many times, I've been satisfied with the part walking out but not with the visit or damage to my wallet. You're honestly better (save more money) most the time going to a parts store and buying new.

Decent selection of parts but prices are through the roof. I called about a transmission for my truck and was told $650. Called back a few days later about picking up the transmission and was told it was $900. ($900 for a USED transmission? A refurbished one is $1100) This isn't the first occasion that this has happened to me either. Another thing to note is that their customer service could use some serious overhaul, they are rude and impatient, and need to learn some people skills

Not happy at all. Call 3 hours before I went there. Person I talked to was unwilling to look for parts and hung up on me when i ask him to call me back about parts. Made the trip to be told they might have the parts only to find out they didn't even have the vans on the lot any more. Wasted time and gas. Won't be doing business with them again.

Lied to me over the phone saying that they had the part I needed. Drove 30 mins and they didn't have the part and they charge you to go see if they have the part. The owner wants to size you up before they give you a price. Prices aren't based on the parts but what they think that you are willing to pay. The less teeth you have the better price you get also skip taking a shower before you go.

Called today to price a Used Motor I saw online. Guy on the phone tells me 2k with a 30 day swap warranty. My simple question to him was how many miles? His response was he don’t know but it starts. Everyone is in business to make money I totally understand. Why charge that much for a used engine not knowing how many miles. If he would of said 1200 I would of been up there with cash ready to support. My opinion is this salvage yard is too pricey for engines not to know any history on the motor your selling . I’ll just go with the LKQ motor with a 132k on it, a 6month warranty with a option to add labor cost . for 2300.. I’ll give y’all some pointers, get a Auto Check account, run the vins and you can get a idea and info on the history of the vehicle. I guarantee your potential customers will feel a lot better spending that amount of money. You can at least give the customer an estimated miles amount base off the reported accident and odometer readings on prior service records. I hope my review will help. Every business have room to get better and grow. I don’t hear to many bad things about this salvage yard.

They definitely have the parts you would need but that's because the prices are so high that they don't sell much. Prices are just a few dollars less than what the new parts would cost. I've broke down and went here a couple time because I was tight on money hoping I could have gotten it cheaper and pulled the part but walked out with out it because I could have gotten it cheaper at advance. Staff is very rude unless your a regular. They need to standardize prices for example. bumpers 100 starters 50 axles 500 transmissions 400. And if the car is a classic charge classic rates. I to have called about a tail gate they wanted 600 few days later I was told 500 went to get it and was willing to pay that because it matched my color then was told 700. I will NEVER go here because of my experiences and will NEVER recommend going here to any body.

I had the displeasure to confirm that this junk yard treats its customers as its inventory (junk). Terrible customer service, prices and overly sarcastic when confronted about their prices being 3 times more expensive than the dealer. This happened in three different occasions.I will NEVER do business with this establishment.

Called to see for part availability, Man didnt even seem like he wanted to talk to me... barely even heard what I had to say just do it immediately cut me off and say they don’t have it and hang up on me.. just off that I wouldn’t recommend doing business with these people because obviously they don’t care about their customers needs.

One of our company’s trucks had been damaged in a accident, so we decided to sell it to theses guys ,the owner agreed on a price of $800 , the day I went to take the title for the sell he asked me how much did I tell you ?, I looked at him in disbelief, because as a businessman he knew our agreement, he then told me he changed him mind. , that he would only give me $700 I declined the offer, this company’s word means nothing, he lied an told me he sent a tow out 3 time , the company he picked it up from said that’s not true either, twice an it was the same truck that returned , they are lying , untrustworthy people. Not to be trusted. What is a company if it doesn’t stand by its word?

ISO parts for a 78 Ford. Called around, they had the only in the area. As expected, truck was fairly stripped, but was able to salvage a handful of sockets and bulbs. No charge at checkout, owner says “don’t worry about it, just have a nice day” Pretty decent of him.

THE WORST customer service I'v ever dealt with. Called about a month ago to get two fenders for a vehicle(which they showed they has 7 of), and they told me they would bring them in the next two days, no problem. 4 Days goes by, still nothing. Called multiple times only to deal with thew most rude workers I've personally ever experienced. FINALLY after a week, they bring us 1 FENDER. The other 6 were "below insurance grade" and they couldn't sell them to us. I called last week to return the fender we ordered because we found 2 in better condition somewhere else, and they have yet to return a phone call or come pick up the fender. Just an all around awful experience. DO NOT waste your time with these people.
